This blog, and much of my life, has been dedicated to exposing and speaking out against racism and those who espouse and propagate the rhetoric of hatred and prejudice. Suffice it to say that throughout the years I have stood toe-to-toe with some very notable people on the racist right. In some instances, I managed to fly under their radar and they didn't even know who I was or what I stood for.

Likewise, on the internet I have met and disagreed with some rather prominent "leaders" in the so-called "movement." Much of the time the writings and the spewed beliefs of White Nationalists and neo-Nazi's yield nothing more than the usual and the predictable. Every once in awhile, however, one of their own offers something that is worthy of discussion - something that just smacks us in the face and calls for a response or even elicits agreement. This is one of those times.

Christopher Drake has been part of the White Nationalist scene for a number of years and has a pretty good reputation among them. He and I have had a few battles but today he had something important to say.

In response to my radio show, Cold Shot, which aired last night, Chris posted, what I believe to be an important essay in the comment section of this blog. You can read the uninterrupted text here.

Given the current climate and the recent events in this country, I think we should all be discussing this. I think we should open up this kind of dialogue from coast to coast. While I certainly disagree with some of what Chris says, it's a good start for both sides. My comments will appear in bold.

I've been meaning to comment on this for a while. Tom Metzger said in an interview a while back that if you could get Wall Street interested in the pro-white thing it would be huge. What he meant was that as long as the pro-white movement stayed as an under-funded grass roots thing, it was going to pretty much stay at a stand still. That's especially true while everyone is trying to stay legal.

Tom Metzger was right when he said that. Metzger has not only been a mentor and an activist for the whole pro-white movement for over four decades, but is one of the more politically savvy of the leaders. Many of the things he has "preached" have been dead-on. That's one of the reasons that he has been so feared by anti-racists.

Now money is involved. Now politicians see that whites are now ready to "vote white" again. Now there is money to be lost should your side lose. Like my fellow lefitst, Tom Metzger has pointed out again and again, if you start screwing with people's money, they start paying attention.

Again, that's very true. If you look at the racial make-up of the recent protestors you will see that 99.99% of them are white, mostly middle-aged to senior-citizen. That's what makes up a huge part of the voting block. The Republican campaign coffers are filling up quickly and a rallying cry is being sent out by white, Republican candidates for contributions.

How many of you have seen a flier that said, "wake up, white man!"? I've seen it said so many times, so many ways on so many websites, handbills, stickers, etc. I always wanted to say, "oh he's awake, just half asleep because of his last big meal."

"Where were all these people while George Bush was screwing up the country?" I heard that asked at least three times yesterday for some reason. It's a legit question. Where were they? Simple. They were at home, happy with their nice unessarily big house, spending their money like crazy and assumming their jobs would always be there. Most of them wouldn't noticed if you'd elected Joe Stalin, so long as he didn't grab their attention or threatened to make life more complex for the sheeple.

And, therein, lies the major crux of the problem. As long as there is beer in the fridge, two cars in the driveway, a meal on the table and the TV is hooked up to cable all is right with the world. That's America. That's been America for a very long time.

But then it came time to do the right thing and get Bush out of office. Bush ran around like a crazy animal, attacking anyone the Jews told him to. If they asked him to bomb his own mother, you can bet his cabinet would meet about it. He wasn't the blood thirsty tyrant the reds made him out to be. He was worse. At least a tyrant knows what he wants. Bush just let the Zionist direct his military while he took care of big money. He didn't say abortion was a good idea nor did he ever say he wanted to take anyone's guns away. Money still rolling in? Steady enough. We'll sit home. Immigration worse than under even the most leftist administration? Maybe I DO NEED a Mexican housekeeper...

Eliminate the anti-Semitic statements and much of this is pretty close to right. Bush was a puppet - a wooden-headed marionette with strings attached to some of the most sinister and malevolent corporate leaders the world has ever known. Bought and paid for by these puppeteers, George W. Bush was as happy as a pig in slop doing their bidding and making an ass of himself and everyone else in this country while three-hundred million Americans slept.

So America set out to do the right thing from their command stations on sofas across the country. As far as "the right thing" went, it was NOT voting for John McCain. McCain assumed then and still assumes now that if he offers to kill anyone the Jews need killed, they'll give him a ticket to the lift. Ten years ago, that might have been true, John. By 2008, too many people on both sides of the fence were calling Iraq and Afghanistan "another Jewish war." It was time to just hold what they had and wait on juicy targets like Iran.

So the road to hell got another on-ramp added.

And this is where your argument becomes somewhat sloppy - even sophomoric. Let's do a little backtracking here - actually, let's do a lot of backtracking.

America loves to scapegoat. That's just the way it is. We have to have someone to blame - other than ourselves, of course. It's easier that way. And racists and white nationalists always seem to want to blame "the Jews" or "the blacks," or the homosexuals or...well, you get the point. Others point their fingers at liberals, or conservatives, or the government...and so on. You do it. I do it. We all do it to one extent or another.

Things aren't quite that simple, however. Think back to the election of 2000. Dubyah didn't win that election - he was "appointed." Oh, there was an outcry for a little while about him not being legitimate and then came 9-11. Remember how you felt that day? Remember the weeks after? Remember the country uniting behind Bush and his f'ing "War On Terror" as we moved into Afghanistan?

Now, no one will ever, ever, ever convince me that 19 known terrorists were able to board four planes close to the same time on the same day and fly them into buildings without SOMEONE in our government knowing about it. No one can tell me that really happened.

It really didn't take long for the white supremacist crowd in this country to start pointing their fingers at Israel and our Israeli alliance, though. Of course, we were all in shock. We were afraid. After all, this is America and those kinds of things don't happen here. We're a civilized nation. We had to blame someone, now, didn't we?

Well, after the shock waves passed and we were extracting our pound of flesh from Al Queada, we were quite easily lulled back into our complacent states of materialism and apathy. The country was in pretty good hands and now we had the Patriot Act and Homeland Security to protect us. We still had our jobs and the mortgage payments had to be met along with the those other bills for the boat and RV that we proudly park in our driveways.

The puppeteers now saw their big opportunity, didn't they? And they pulled the Shrub's strings a little harder - gave him a little song and dance routine about weapons of mass destruction and put him back on the stage. It didn't matter that hundred of thousands of people marched on Washington - or millions around the world. Georgie had it all under control. Remember, you're either with us, or against us.

To the ultra-conservatives, the protestors were left-wing pacifists and un-American. To the liberals, the proponents of the attack were right-winged war mongers. And the white nationalists weren't sure where to light. Some took their cause to the streets with their "No More Wars For Israel" signs and got their butts kicked to the curb. Why? Because the anti-war protestors didn't want to be associated with anything racist or anti-Semitic. They didn't share that sentiment.

But, Dubyah's handlers weren't concerned with the numbers in the streets - you see, those numbers didn't equate to dollars. Certainly not the kind of dollars that could be made through an unconscionable war. So...they gave us Shock & Awe. And we sat in front of the TV with our microwave popcorn and a six-pack and cheered at the non-stop media coverage of bombs being rained down on innocent men, women, and children while the puppeteers rubbed their greedy palms together in great anticipation of the profits they would reap.

Oh, yes...we did that, and Oh, yes...they did that. And for millions of Americans life was still thought to be good.

There was little thought given to those less fortunate. So you're homeless and hungry - get a job. So you can't see a doctor - that's too bad. So, you got wounded in Iraq - welcome to understaffed and under-funded Veteran's hospital. So you want twice the house you can afford - here's the loan, it'll be ours in 10 years, ha, ha. So your kids can't pass the ACT - here's "No Child Left Behind." I've got mine - get your own. That's Capitalism, baby. Want the American dream? Go find it.

Then the Road To Hell On Ramp was completed. Fighting wars on two fronts, an economy that collapsed, unemployment reaching mammoth proportions, the stock-market crashing, the auto-industry going bust, businesses going bankrupt, a broken health-care system, an antiquated and ineffective educational system - and guess what...America finally gets it.

In came Barack Obama. What kills me is that he got elected on vague slogans, white guilt, and promises to end the genocide Bush started. Does it piss one single person off that he hasn't raised a finger to even so much as slow the rate of bodies piling up in the Middle East? Shouldn't some of you who blindly follow him because he's black, get pissed off because he lies like hell to you? Anyhow. This post is going to be long enough as it is.

It is unfortunate that even in the face of an election that was such an overwhelming statement by the American people that the White Nationalist must somehow try to justify our votes through suggesting that they were cast because of "white guilt." I clearly see that you have to have something to blame the election of a black man on. Perhaps you have worn your fingers out pointing them at others?

I am pissed off. There's no doubt about that. But, not for the reasons you suggest. Barack Obama's election had nothing to do with "white guilt," and everything to do with change. That's all Americans had to see and hear - "CHANGE." It didn't matter what the change meant. In our minds - anything was better than what we were experiencing - and we were right.

I'm pissed off because a man who has held the office of the President of the United States for less than ten months, a man who stepped into one of the most precipitous situations ever faced by any other is being vilified by smears and blatant fabrications by Americans who slept through the last eight years of this country's decapitation.

I'm pissed off because there are so many people in my country who have been sold a bill of goods by profiteers and puppeteers whose unscrupulous greed for money and power obscures any and all things possible.

So now people in Washington are paying attention to the new pro-white movement. Sorry to all you apologists but that's what it is. It's Stormfront come to life with the militias marching in near-lockstep. You can say it's not about race or whatever. Don't kid youselves. It's totally about race. "Oh we are just American Patriots." Take it from a pro, you can't be an "American Patriot" and not be racist.

Yes the people in Washington are paying attention - and some are paying a lot more than that. And all one has to do is look at the racial makeup of those "American Patriots" to suspect that there is something more afoot here than taxes and health-care.

There are many among them who will claim not to be racist - but racism is often a nebulous vagary shrouded in code-words or underlying intents.

A lot of people are coming to that conclusion though. "You're a bigot!" works about as good at slowing white people these days as calling Obama a "nigger" made him reconsider running for office. "People in the tea-party movement are tired of people calling them racists." Where? All I see are some people who claim to be some sort of leadership backpeddling on race to the media.


Let me be the one to inform you all: there is no such thing as a post-racial society. I guess if you destroyed the entire human race, then you might have a post-racial world. The white person who patted his affirmative action black on the head last year is now carrying on just like a middle-of-the-road racist did two years ago. The same thing you heard on Stormfront is now being chanted through the streets of DC by thousands, if not millions, of people. Someone screwed with their money.

Well, you know the old saying about money being the root of all evil.

Many right-wingers, especially the pundits, have been attempting to conceal their racism for years, yielding the floor to the climate of political correctness and for fear of losing the dollars that come from their corporate sponsors. The sheer numbers that have flocked to the right-wing airwaves as well as into the streets have, however, emboldened the talking-heads as well as the network CEO's. The tide is definitely turning.

Finally.

Moving on, a race war actually has a chance of happening now. I watched a frightened negro on TV who apparently dropped the Hollywood fantasy and admitted that blacks would get their asses stomped Samolia style should a war of such break out. Right now, people in Washington are actually sitting around wondering how to run a race war and how to put things back together after it's over. No boys, that isn't a good thing. First, you don't want any war, regardless of how much you think you do. Second, if there was one, you don't want anyone from the beltway on your side. YOU WILL BE SCREWED OVER IN THE END AND WORSE OFF THAN BEFORE. If a war had to happen, it needs to be white people against the feds, the Chosen and their pets.


What makes you think a race war is coming, Drake? Simple. The rats are already jumping ship. You are seeing a lot of Jews starting to support the tea-party crowd (which is what I used to call "the tea-cups"). Black man, don't think for a moment that Jews cared a shred for you and your advancement. It was a bigger joke to them than it was to us. Just like during the birth of Nazi Germany, Jews are attempting to get in on the ground level. Yes, they will turn on you and are about to enmass. That's one sign.

First, I must say that I understand that it is difficult for a neo-Nazi or white supremacist to discuss many political or social issues without laying everything off on "the Jews." In all honesty, any neophyte to the hyperbolic rhetoric of the white nationalist and their views would be led to believe that Jews make up 75% of the U.S. population, have an omniscient presence, and wield unbridled power over the populace. You guys really need to stop giving them so much credit.

For years I have been hearing white supremacists foretell the "Day of the Rope." I have laughed at their folly and their wishful predictions of a Racial Holy War. I have commented over and over again on their fantasies and their daydreams. Watching some of the actions, however, of the tea-party crowd and the drama that is unfolding, however, has given me pause. Not so much about a race war but, certainly, about a revolution and I concur - that's not something any of us want to see.

Another thing is that money, for the first time since big money told Hitler to disband the SA, is in the movement, if you can still call it that. Politicians smell votes around the tea-parties almost as much as big money smells trouble across the fence. They, not Nathan Furrows, can start a war.

Now...there is a statement worth chewing on. Let's face it, with the landslide election of Barack Obama and the usurpation of power by the Democrats in Congress - the struggling Republican Party was decimated. It has been gutted and filleted and now devoured. That's a hard pill to swallow for a lot of conservatives.

Money? Oh yeah...there's a lot of that at stake and one whole helluva lot being thrown into this tea-party thing. Just look at some of the names associated with this group - and those are just the ones who do the grunt work. The real money is very deep-pocketed and something I will discuss at another time.

While money might equal power, being in power makes one a lot more money - and that's precisely what we should all remember. We should remember it, because things are getting mighty scary.

It's highly unlikely that the power-brokers and the puppeteers are going to get another war on foreign soil because their big gun has already been fired and their shock and awe hand has been played in this round. They are just emerging from the throes of a grand mall seizure where much of the country united around the idea of "change." And they are pissed!

As much of a Patriot as I consider myself, I'm not excited about a race war or any other kind. You kids don't know what it's all about. I've had my taste of it and my stomach goes into knots each time I think about it. I know a lot of people are looking for payback towards non-whites and their associates. It's hard to try and tell them this: a race war is the last thing you should want if you love your people. But it looks like we're getting to "the last thing." Everytime we've tried to talk, we've been shut out, belittled, attacked, fired and jailed. A war in this country is horrifying still. 90% of you in the movement don't know what any kind of war is like and almost 99% of you can't imagine what a war at home would be. I've trained or been involved in low intensity conflict for a great deal of my life. Know what it's all taught me? That I want to sit at a cafe all day and type silly adventure novels. I want to play with my baby and never raise another rifle at anyone ever again. Politcs, basement commando photos, hard feelings and bad feelings aside, NOBODY but the sickest of you should want a civil war right here at home.

We ran a little mom and pop store for years, barely getting by. Now the mob (Washington) has an interest in our business. Great. Be careful what you wish far. And don't call an ill-thought wish a sucessful plan.

While I disagree that any sort of civil unrest will involve one race against another. I do believe that a war of any kind is the last thing we need. I fear, however, we are on the brink of something pretty disastrous. Something that we won't recover from for a very long time.

One of the things that has been accomplished is that Americans are slowly being pulled from that cocoon of comfort that they have gotten so used to. However, they still haven't fully awakened to the truth. Like a sleepy-headed child just emerging from her restful slumber, they haven't rubbed the sleep from their eyes or become acutely aware of the chaos that awaits them. I can only hope that they do so before running out into the path of an oncoming freight train.

As the white supremacist blames the Jew or the black man and the liberal blames the conservative and vice versa, this country is rolling right out onto those tracks. But, in the end, the ones really to blame are ourselves. We've been so busy with the name-calling, the labeling, the finger-pointing and the scapegoating that we have let our selves be manipulated and duped and, yes, pimped. It's cost us - it's cost us dearly. We all see that. We know that. Yet, we continue to allow it happen. Say goodnight - sweet dreams - God bless, America.

A lightning-rod Internet blogger and radio host out of New Jersey was a paid FBI informant, once turned over a silencer to the feds and even passed on information about a threat against President Obama.

But none of that is enough to get him out of jail now, a federal judge ruled this afternoon.

U.S. District Judge Martin Ashman said Hal Turner — accused of threatening to assault and murder three federal judges — is still a danger to the community.

Ashman said the fact that Turner from his New Jersey prison cell managed to record and post on the Internet a telephone conversation that included the names of his arresting FBI agents “tells me something about the disposition of Mr. Turner.” Ashman denied Turner’s request to have FBI agents testify at his bond hearing.

Ashman’s ruling comes despite today’s revelation that the FBI paid Turner “tens of thousands of dollars” to work as an informant from 2002 to 2005. Last year, Turner told a U.S. marshal of a threat by someone to lob mortars into Grant Park during Obama’s election celebration.

Turner, 47, of North Bergen, N.J., is accused of attempting to instigate violence against three 7th Circuit judges after they authored an anti-gun rights ruling earlier this summer.

He posted a headline saying, “These judges deserve to be killed,” followed the next day by, “Judges official public work addresses and a map of the area are below. Their home addresses and maps will follow soon. Behold these devils.”

Turner posted the judges’ names, photographs, phone numbers, office address and room numbers, according to charges.

Calls for increased security and strengthened laws protecting jurists ramped up in 2005, after a disgruntled litigant broke into the North Side home of U.S. District Judge Joan Lefkow and murdered her husband and mother.

One of his lawyers, Michael Orozco, said Turner was nothing more than a “shock jock,” whose on-air rhetoric was out of line with the man who went home to his wife and family at day’s end.

Assistant U.S. Attorney William Hogan called Turner’s role as an informant a “sideshow,” to the question of bond, saying Turner simply passed along tips and rumors to the FBI.

In one email sent July 26, 2007, Turner tells an FBI agent of his intent to turn over a silencer kit for a .22-caliber weapon.

“Just the other day we were laughing about how HQ thinks I’m satan incarnate,” Turner writes in the e-mail. “How the heck am I going to fulfill their fears if I go turning stuff like this in the way a law-abiding citizen does?”

Pocket Full of Miracles

Being a white nationalist in today's world just isn't getting any easier. As a matter of fact, it can be downright difficult and, at times, more than a little confusing. I mean, just think about it.

What does a good white nationalist really stand for? Is he a Christian, a pagan, or an atheist? Is he anti-government or a patriotic American? Dose he believe in genocide or separation? Does he hate everything non-white or is he just anti-Semitic? Is he a little bit anti-Semitic, or does he hate all Jews? Should he fight for a white homeland or just a neighborhood? And...who should lead him to his long-awaited racial holy war?

Other issues plaguing the utterly disheveled white racist are things like should he get a tattoo or should he shave his head. Jack-boots or loafers? Suit and tie, or white power tee shirt? Beer bottle or tea-cup?

As the white nationalist movement has grappled with the fragmented nature of its own ideology, we have witnessed a unifying of sorts as individuals who ascribe to the racist agenda have been choosing sides between the hardcore and the soft-sell. It's certainly not a battle of wits - but it is one that may determine the fate of organized racism in this country. However, the recent events of right-wing extremists acting out their violent fantasies have given an ego boost to one of the most perfidious losers within their rank and file.


Upon the tragic shooting at the Holocaust Museum, John de Nugent couldn't wait to capitalize on the nation's grief. De Nugent, a.k.a. John Nugent, a.k.a. Jack Nugent, is a sort of right-wing, sort of racist, sort of anti-Semite, no-doubt-about-it goof-ball who has suddenly been catapulted into the media frenzy surrounding the musem shooting. Of course, that is of his own doing as he called the Washington Post to let them know that he was on the shooter's mailing list - oh yeah, and he spoke with James von Brunn on the phone, although the two of them never met.

De Nugent has been trying to make some inroads on the white nationalist front for awhile now but has gotten trampled pretty soundly over the last several months after more than just a few faux pas and whole passel of bad decisions.

After moving to Sarver, Pennsylvania, home of the Lernerville Speedway and just under 9,000 residents, de Nugent thought he would be able to lure more racists to an already heavily white area to bolster him in his quest for a leadership position among the nationalist crowd.


He believed that after having written some articles for Willis Carto's Barnes Review, a Holocaust denial publication, and shamelessly exploiting a young Finnish nationalist who was summarily deported from the United States because of that exploitation de Nugent thought (and still thinks) himself worthy of leading the white race to some sort of victory.

As is true with so many self-appointed leaders, especially those leading outlandish or unsavory endeavors, however, de Nugent's psychotic and delusional ego sent red-flags up throughout the racist community. After all, they have seen more than their share of egomaniacal leaders.

In internet post after post, de Nugent told his story of heart-breaking abuse as a child and the psychological trauma as well as his many psychiatric treatments. For most readers, not feeling a sense of empathy and compassion would render one, at the very least, heartless. However, as de Nugent belabored the point ad nauseum, a stirring of disquietude began within the white nationalist community. Some began to feel uneasy and began to question his stability.

Add to his many recitations of childhood anguish his insistence upon believing that all Jews are psychopathic and that everyone who disagree with him is a Jew, the alienation of his peers was well underway.

When young Henrik Holappa entered the picture as a Finnish nationalist seeking asylum from prosecution in his homeland, de Nugent took him in and began to promote him within the American white nationalist community. Of course, it was readily evident to many bystanders that not only was this unwise, but also de Nugent's means of self-promotion.

Most narcissits are plagued with the inability to make good decisions and many become obsessive with their own self-aggrandizement. De Nugent is no exception. Obsessed with Holappa, de Nugent posted picture after picture of he and Henrik on the internet. Given to long ramblings anyway, de Nugent's internet offerings became a gallery of pictures and gushings over the 22-year-old racist. It backfired.


When de Nugent was accused, not only of exploitation, but of being a closeted homosexual the outcry from de Nugent was almost palpable. As he had already been banned from other forums for his outbursts and abuse, it was little wonder that Don Black over at Stormfront gave him the boot. However, in other areas John de Nugent was also rapidly sealing his fate.


Amidst the brouhaha over de Nugent's sexual proclivities, John continued into a downward spiral. Cozying up to Joe Fields, a convicted child molestor who somehow remains within the movement, didn't gain de Nugent any fans - although he thought it would. Time and again John tried to defend Fields. Of course, when he actually published a communication between Kevin Alfred Strom who pled guilty to child pornography a little while back, de Nugent's fan base was rapidly dwindling.

In one move of desperation after another, John de Nugent found himself caught in a web of lies, distortions, and deceit. Publishing emails from those he called "comrades," claiming past associations with little to no basis in fact, name-dropping and back-slapping de Nugent found himself with but a handful of simple-minded followers.

Criticized for not attending a conference in Boston where he was scheduled to speak, de Nugent stated:

"Let me just say this: to all who said I was a coward for not going to Boston, remember that the Jews try to arrest ALL the leaders.

"The Pentagon calls it "decapitation.

"The Old Testament calls it "Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter."

As his base of supporters had diminished, his own obsession with proving his self-importance had grown. So had his contradictions.

You see, de Nugent seems to be just as confused as the rest of the movement is - and for a would-be leader that isn't the best thing to be. But, de Nugent thinks he can make it all up as he goes along. He's that good.

If you are a Christian joining up with John - that's okay, because John believes in Christ. If you happen to be anything else, that's okay too because John isn't a Christian, he just admires Christ.

If you believe in genocide - hey, no problem. Because John really hates Jews. But, if you just believe in separation of the races - hey, John's a separatist.

If you happen to be anti-Semitic to the core - John's good with that. But, if you like some Jews, no problem. After all, John has had a couple of Jewish girlfriends, a Jewish psychiatrist, and hung out with a Rabbi. He really likes the Jews for Jesus group.

He even makes up his own words. I call them Nugent Nuggets. An all-around, flexible guy - that's John.

Of course, de Nugent has spent his entire life devoted to the white race, (notwithstanding his Jewish associations and visits to the psychiatrist, of course.) And, according to his website he now endangers his life to lead us. He is planning on running for President the next time around.

You could probably already guess that he has hung out with all of the racist notables - at least once. He even claims to have been "hard core" at one point. That entailed wearing a swastika and handing out literature at his college. It's amazing that he survived such activism.

On June 10th, James von Brunn opened fire at the Holocaust museum and John de Nugent saw his opportunity. After his call to the Washington Post, other media outlets were more than happy to speak to the man who knew von Brunn. They should have done their homework.

Alex Linder of Vanguard News Network, along with many others on the racist front have martyrized the actions of the 88-year-old racist. De Nugent, on the other hand, told the media, "I absolutely condemn what James von Brunn did." Good for him. Bad for him.

The reaction among those hard-nosed white nationalist was one of utter contempt for de Nugent. Other, more cautious, supremacists agreed. Still others, naive enough to believe John de Nugent is crafty and cunning thought this was merely a ruse on his part to secure favor with the media and the white masses.

I hate to tell those in latter group that John de Nugent is that smart - but I think he is crazy. I would urge all of them to go back and read some of his writings. Note the inconsistencies in all that he says. Note his disdain of others who came before him and his exaltation of self as the great white hope. Then look to yourselves and ask what you are doing following someone so ill-fated.

As to the media hoopla surrounding this new-found Nazi, I would ask them why they would be so irresponsible as to promote such a person as a reliable source. I would ask them to do, at least, some cursory research into the background of those individuals to whom they ask the public to assume are credible.

As to John de Nugent, who now claims, "We just want a place where we are safe, pockets of white heritage," instead of a white homeland, I would say - it will take a pocket full of miracles for you to lead anyone anywhere. To the other racists - with leaders like this, no wonder you're confused.

Malignacy Spreading

June 10th was a warm and very humid day in Washington, D.C. as storms built in from the West. The clouds weren't the only things casting a pallor over the nation's capitol, however. There was an even darker pother creeping toward one of the most revered of our country's historical offerings - the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

James von Brunn, an 89-year-old racist and virulent anti-Semite, chose this day to pick up his rifle and turn his fantasy of ethnic cleansing into a reality. Unfortunately, Stephen Tyrone Johns lost his life while protecting others.

As the media has focused heavily on the writings and past transgressions of Brunn, I will not cover the well-trod territory of the press. A simple Google search of the man will suffice to give the unaware reader a synopsis of the evils that embodied this pitiful octogenarian. What I will, however, explore are the associations of Brunn and dangers that others of his ilk bring to our society.

It is with a very sobered soul that I find myself writing this missive as I was working diligently on something a good deal more lighthearted as the tragic events of the day unfolded.

For well-over a decade, Citizens Against Hate has been chronicling and tracking the actions of the racist movement. We have written thousands of articles and reports, given testimony, engaged in community awareness programs, etc., all in an effort to raise awareness and educate the public to the dangers that organized racism holds for our society. But, nothing has been more successful in raising that alert than the racists themselves.

James von Brunn was an angry and bitter old man. His ex-wife would tell you that his hatred "...ate him alive like a cancer."

That "cancer" is alive and well in thousands throughout our country. It is malignant and it is pernicious. James von Brunn, at 89, is but one manifestation of that malignancy. When William Luther Pierce, founder of the National Alliance died in 2002, followed by Richard Butler, patriarch of the Aryan Nations, in 2004, many thought that with the "old-guard" out of the way, the white supremacist movement was finished. But, the real "old guard" hasn't left the premises - yet.

Von Brunn was close to William Luther Pierce and had ties to Butler. But, he was even closer to another of their protégés - Willis Carto, a revisionist and Holocaust denier from the old school of hate.

Elder statesmen, such as Carto and Brunn are dying off, but their work and influence have far-reaching implications for mainstream America in the current political climate.

A recent example of that is the case of John de Nugent (aka John Nugent; aka Jack Nugent), a psychopath out of Pennsylvania who befriended a young Finnish nationalist by the name of Henrik Holappa who was recently removed from this country in chains.

De Nugent claims to have had ties to von Brunn and, in fact, seemed to have been in contact with him a short time before the shooting. This is not surprising since both he and Brunn were closely associated with Carto.

Holappa had fled Finland to avoid incarceration and ended up in Pennsylvania alongside de Nugent who introduced him to the American version of white nationalism and some of the reprobates who inhabit the movement. De Nugent has lamented the unfair treatment received by Henrik when his application for asylum was denied and he was deported back to Finland just a few days ago.

De Nugent's threnody, however, was quite misplaced, as Holappa was, undoubtedly, considered a terrorist by the standards of Homeland Security. Many white nationalists have found themselves so branded of late.

The whole de Nugent/Holappa affair demonstrates the potential dangers that are inherent with the racist and anti-Semitic right.

Prior to his entry into this country, Holappa wrote several letters to the Iranian newspaper denouncing the United States and Israel. In part, he stated:

"Iran is the last fortress against the Zionism and USA. Europe has gone down in 1945 - year 1945 may never happen again. May the Allah protect the people of Iran and its leadership.

"That what happened in Afghanistan and Iraq can not happen in Iran, never. Dear people of Iran, I appeal on you: Stay as one NATION and destroy the enemy! You are in the frontline fighting against the Zionism and Americans.


"We have to tell about the crimes by the Zionism and USA in the world. They are striking as long time as they can and as long time that they have won. We can never let these cancers to win. In the end the free Nations will crush the Zionism.

Long live Iran!"

As stated earlier, it is the white supremacists themselves who make our case for dangers they present. Upon the broadcast of the events at the Musem, the racist right went into high-gear. A few denounced the actions of von Brunn, but many more were appreciative.

A few of the comments denote the true nature of the beast:

"Hot Damn! A man with balls... He shot a nigger in the kike museum...No great loss...Thanks for your service!"

"Excellent work, we salute your service!"

While the rhetoric of the extreme racist shocks and even frightens the mainstream, it is the mindset that is the most disconcerting of all. To our credit, most people do not even think in the terms of the extremist yet the thought processes of those who would put into practice that very rhetoric must be closely examined. Interestingly, it is one of the more notorious among them who authenticates that premise as he leads his followers thusly:

I wasn't talking about men with pitchforks or even AKs taking on ZOG.

Right now there are no consequences to white perfidy (the Fox hosts) nor to the jews running the country. They do whatever they want, and fear no repercussions.


What if a couple men kidnapped an ADL higher-up along with, say, a lanky blonde? What if they conducted an interview on camera? What if they proceeded to cut the two's heads off and film it? What if they simultaneously posted the video on a number of online sites? What if this video made it absolutely clear that the jew was killed because he had tried to take White men's guns and free speech, and the blonde was killed because she was a collaborator and an appeaser? What if it was clear that this was not a one-off, but the beginning of a campaign by forces unseen?

The American people aren't following us in part because they see that we aren't willing to die or, more important, kill for our beliefs. They aren't all lemmings. They aren't all stupid. They aren't all cowards. They see a lot of the same problems we do. They're just lazy and comfortable. Just as eating makes appetite, seeing that there are those out there actually willing to kill our enemies - that would have a significant effect.

When we talk in apolyptic terms, we eventually get declining returns. Either we mean it, or we don't.

I don't think we can rely on the System breaking down on its own. The trends are all bad and unless we reverse them will get worse. The System has shown time and time again it can ignore and mock us without consequences.

I think there need to be consequences. Until there are, we're mainly entertainment, with some soft work - some education, some information dissemination, some curriculum.

I actually think a physical revolution is quite possible. Our army is mainly good at torturing people and bombing them from the air. It is not good at fighting forces that hit and run. Look at Eric Rudolph. The FBI had hundreds of people searching for him for two years and came up with squat.

The pressure is all one way right now. The jews do illegal, immoral things and we complain about double standards. Point out how unfair it is. But there's never any redress. There is no White movement until jews and those who front for them start dying at our warriors' hands. That's why I don't allow fantasy fags to sign up at VNNF.

A little something is ginning up. We're working hard. There is more we can do. That we have not developed a K-12 curriculum for White homeschoolers is a prime example of our ineffectuality. That we still have no organization that speaks for Whites is further example.

They don't respect us, they being the jews and, say, "Fox," because our actions don't back up our rhetoric. If our cause is worth dying for, how come we aren't killing any enemies?

It's not that hard. I think that the personalities on tv, the talking heads and the analysts, are soft targets, easy to get to. And if I were to make a prediction, I'd say that's where the real revolution, the physical fighting back, is going to start.

This is but one example of how twisted the mindset is among the extremists. Those words were written by Alex Linder, the owner and founder of Vanguard News Network, an internet forum and blog inhabited by some of the most virulent racists and anti-Semitic individuals on the internet. He went on to say in a later post,

An assassination, a series of assassinations, carried out against comparatively soft (undefended) targets known to the public through their presence in the mass media, could have very positive consequences for the cause of liberating Whites from Jewish Tyranny.

Shocking? To most of us, yes. The world is truly a dangerous place. The extremists among us make it even more so.

Last October, William A. White a neo-Nazi in Roanoke, Va. whose website called for the establishment of a nation-state in which only whites have the right to citizenship and for the removal of all non-whites and Jews from the United States, was arrested for juror intimidation.

In April, Richard Poplawski, a member of Stormfront opened fire and killed three police officers in Pittsburgh. Poplawski's anti-Semitism and anti-government views were were well-documented.

Last week, Scott Roeder, a militia member and far right-wing pro-lifer shot and killed Dr. George Tiller, a late-term abortion doctor, as he attended church.

Also last week, Harold Turner, an anti-Semitic racist talk-show host, was arrested for threats made to two Connecticut Congressmen.

Now, Stephen Tyrone Johns lays dead after reaching out and opening the door for James von Brunn. Why? Who wins? No one.

As those on the extreme right wrap themselves in the mantle of Free Speech and the Right To Bear Arms, the rest of us are expected to accept their actions as being righteous and in the best interest of the "white race." Anything less than that acceptance will be met with a swastika and a jackboot.

The year is 2009, and the world is a very small place, growing ever smaller - and ever more violent. The threat that the right-wing extremists pose to this country and others is real and can no longer be ignored. Like any cancer - if left untreated it will spread.

(Forty Years of Deception Still Alive and Well)

Old adages such as "Birds of a feather flock together, " or "You are judged by the company you keep" often have been proven to have exceptions, yet they still hold true in many situations and maybe more so in the White Supremacy Movement.

I have written countless articles chronicling the sleazy side of the neo-Nazi's in the United States and have often noted what appears to be a disproportionate propensity toward domestic violence, child abuse or neglect, adultery, promiscuity, and pornography. Additionally, I have frequently pointed out the lack of loyalty to each other among members of this group.

A few years ago, I started asking questions and pointing out what I believed to be some rather interesting relationships among a certain group of people, all operating together, to further an agenda of hate, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and genocide. As the years have passed, those relationships have become even more suspect in the mind of this writer. As is evidenced and well chronicled, the White Supremacy Movement has largely been factionalized for the last forty years. Yet there are many commonalities between the factions. Indeed, the ties often cross ideological lines and move into the realms of religion, revisionism, and politics. Because these groups pose a danger to the very fabric of American society, it behooves us to know where their support base is and who really finances racism, anti-Semitism, and bigotry in the United States and abroad. It is also important that the hypocrisy and deception of those leading the movement be explored and exposed to all who hold an interest in knowing the truth. In order to bring this all into perspective, a little history of these people must be told. As we move through the tawdry and violent world of hate we will demonstrate the true nature of those leaders from the past as well as those attempting to weave their way into the mainstream today.


In 1974, twenty-four-year old David Duke formed the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and was running roughshod in Louisiana. Needing money for many of his white power endeavors, Duke published a book under the name of Dorothy Vanderbilt entitled "Finders Keepers." It was a women's self-help book giving advice on vaginal exercises, fellatio, and anal sex.

Also in 1974, he had married Chloe Hardin with whom he had two children. Chloe was active in Duke's Klan group but after ten years together, Hardin divorced Duke and moved to Florida where she met and married one of David's Klan buddies, Don Black who is now the Stormfront guru.

As a teen, Duke began communicating with Dr. William Luther Pierce, founder of the infamous National Alliance and author of the "Turner Diaries." For many years the Alliance was considered the largest and most formidable hate group in America. It spawned numerous future leaders of racist and anti-Semitic groups nationwide.

David Duke was somewhat of an anomaly within the movement at that time. With his proclamation that he was going to change the face of the Klan, he was able to recruit others such as Louis Beam, Don Black, and Tom Metzger into this radicalization from sheets to suits.

While Duke believed in the rhetoric he was spewing, he was unable to control his own ego and appetites. He had found a way to appease his own need for recognition and his penchant for a lavish lifestyle - he became a professional racist - a con man.

Membership lists are the lifeblood of white supremacist organizations. These rosters are necessary to building, maintaining and financing their groups and their activities. Because of the unsavory nature of the beliefs and the endeavors of such groups, members generally prefer to remain anonymous and they rely upon the leaders to maintain their privacy.

Duke knew the importance of these lists and he set out to build his own database of like-minded people and potential contributors - by any means necessary.

Now, Duke wasn't above unscrupulous behaviors. After all, he had expenses to meet and an agenda. In 1972, he was arrested for pocketing $500 in contributions that were meant for the campaign coffers of George Wallace so stealing and selling membership lists was no big deal. Stealing the membership from the National Alliance was easy.

By the latter half of the 1970's, his womanizing had become legendary. The Rev. Johnny Lee Clary, former Kluxer and bodyguard to Duke turned anti-racist, related to one reporter how Duke would wave the Bible around preaching Christian values and then take a members' wife to bed.

Never mind that Duke was the married father of two, Tom Metzger, a long-time racist leader, spoke of how Duke would arrive at various events and begin hitting on women. "We used to tell people, 'When Duke comes to town make sure your wife is safely locked up and don't let him near your daughter,'" said Metzger.

John Maginnis, author of "Cross to Bear," a profile of David Duke, recounted the story of a legislative aide who had lunch with Duke. "He started explaining to me that blonde, blue-eyed, Scandinavian looking people were God's chosen people, that they were made in his image. He said that God didn't want to dilute this perfection so we should only mate with others of our kind. He then asked me if I wanted to mate with him. It was the weirdest come-on line I've ever heard."

One of Duke's former girlfriends, Lori Eden, a swimsuit and lingerie model who owned and operated her own adult website, claimed that at one point in their relationship she believed herself to be pregnant. Duke, who is a strong pro-life advocate, offered to take her to Paris where they could get the "abortion pill" which was not legal in this country. According to Eden, Duke said he had been through this kind of thing before and feared that the publicity would ruin him politically.

David Duke didn't work. He ran his political campaigns, the proceeds of which he lived off of. He duped his supporters into believing that their contributions were helping him save the white race. And he lived large - nose job, chin implant, houses, babe on each arm, limos to the casinos and money to burn - other people's money. According to those close enough to know, a typical day for Duke would find him sleeping late, checking the mail for money, playing golf, going to the gym, and then heading for the casino at night.

Eventually, it all caught up with him, however. In 2003, Duke was sentenced to a short stint in federal prison for raising funds under false pretenses (mail fraud) and lying on his tax forms.


Vince Breeding - real name, Bruce Alan Breeding - was Duke's right hand man for a number of years. To those who knew of his background this should have seemed like a strange union - at least on the surface. While Duke favored the clean-cut image with impeccable dress and spouted Christian values, Breeding was playing guitar in a black metal band called Acheron that was Satanic to the core. The leader of the group was Vincent Crowley, reported an ordained "priest" in Anton LaVey's Church of Satan. He moonlighted in a striptease club in the Tampa Bay area.

In 1994, Breeding joined Dr. Pierce's National Alliance and became very active in promulgating their message of racism and anti-Semitism. He produced an underground radio show out of Tampa on which he broadcast Dr. Pierce's American Dissident Voices 24/7. When his radio signal began to interfere with the broadcasts of other local radio stations, citizens in the area started to complain to which he often responded with threats of violence and promises to never cease. Eventually, he was shut down.

Vince Breeding was certainly no Mr. Nice Guy. His associations alone were cause for many to raise their eyebrows and keep him at arms length. The Southern Poverty Law Center reports that during 1997, while Breeding was organizing events featuring Holocaust denier David Irving and the chameleonic David Duke he was sharing an apartment with Todd Vanbiber, another member of Pierce's National Alliance.

In January of 1996, Vanbiber and friend, Brian Pickett, robbed the Barnett Bank in Tampa. A month later they robbed the New Milford Savings and Loan in Danbury, Conn. After the Danbury robbery they paid Dr. Pierce a visit where they donated $1000.00 of their booty to the cause and purchased $700.00 in books from the Alliance.

In April of 1997, as he was assembling an 8-inch pipe bomb, capped at both ends, it blew up in Vanbiber's face causing serious injury. When the ATF searched his storage unit, they found several weapons, ammunition, and munitions manufacturing guides.

According to the authorities, "fourteen bombs were to be placed along two major routes in the Florida tourist capital: Interstate 4, the major access highway to Walt Disney World, and U.S. Highway 441."

Several of the bombs had already been fully assembled. Some had been prepared with timing devices, batteries, timers, and clocks. They had initially planned the bombing for April 19, the second anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing before a change in plans.

While Breeding was not officially implicated in his roommate's bombing escapade, he was busily setting up websites to further the National Alliance's bid for new recruits.

As Breeding maintained his membership in the National Alliance and worked dilligently to bolster their rank and file, his relationship with David Duke began to blossom. In 1999, Breeding launched the Nationalist News Service which operated out of Don Black's internet group, Stormfront.

The National Alliance was big and becoming bigger. Their Resistance Records enterprise was becoming a cash cow for the N.A. and Dr. Pierce, and the envy of other hate groups around the world. When Vince Breeding stole the mailing list of the white power music organization, his relationship with Dr. Pierce was severed instantly. We can only speculate as to who enticed Breeding into such an act.

Once he had burned that bridge he and the membership list traveled to Louisiana where he moved in with Duke and became his lackey. Actually, they suited each other quite well. Both had a penchant for money and life in the fast lane. Both were unprincipled. And both had honed their ability to con and scam their way through life.

After numerous name changes, Duke's organization settled on being known as the European American Unity and Rights Organization or EURO. Breeding, using the name of Vince Edwards, ran Duke's website and enhanced Duke's presence on the web. Both maintained their ties with Duke's other acolyte, Don Black, who had already built an amazing white power base on the internet.



Shortly after David Duke was sentenced to 15 months in prison, in 2003, a bombshell was dropped on the white nationalist community when it was revealed that Vince Breeding, a.k.a. Vince Edwards, a.k.a. Bruce Allen Breeding, was also "Vince the Munkay" who was anything but a white supremacist.

Vince the "Munkay" traipsed around at a party in sunglasses and a furry, floor length coat proclaiming, "You will learn to respect the dark powers of the Munkay," while promoting his "Xsite" magazine and website.


Both the rag and the site advertised "Ebony Escorts" as well as mother-daughter sex acts, and gay, lesbian and bisexual dating services.

As Breeding's alter-ego, "The Munkay" came to light one could only wonder how much about all of this was known to Pierce, Duke, Black, et.al. They knew. To think otherwise is inconceivable denial.

During Duke's incarceration, Don Black managed to keep him at the forefront with his Stormfront website. Periodic updates were always available as well as nauseating lamentations about the unjust system that kept him from his followers.


Black grew up during a time of civil unrest and turmoil in this country and he chose to become a movement in his own right. During his high school years he decided that his high school was the perfect place to recruit others into his efforts to save the white race from what was surely to be its extinction. He began by handing out flyers and newspapers containing information on the dire straits of his people. Of course, school administrators determined that this was unacceptable and banned all political propaganda from school grounds.

This was a challenge to Black. He knew he had to get creative so he garnered a mailing list of students and began sending his message through the mail. By the time he was a Junior, he had set his eye on the political machine. He knew where he was going. Politics - that's where he could do the most good to keep his beloved South and his country to stay segregated along racial lines.

J.D. Stoner, a staunch segregationist and leader of the National States' Rights Party was running for Governor of Georgia and Don Black decided to help in his campaign.

Now, Black was in training in the National Socialist Youth Movement which was a branch of the National Socialist White People's Party. For those unfamiliar, the NSWPP had been formerly called the American Nazi Party until George Lincoln Rockwell changed the name shortly before his assassination.


Robert Lloyd was the second in command of the NSWPP and, by many accounts, he had been Rockwell's pick as his successor over the current leader at the time, Matt Koehl. (Koehl now heads up a neo-Nazi outfit known as "The New Order." He was also a member of Stoner's National States' Rights Party). It's important to note that Robert Lloyd and William Luther Pierce were tight and rumor has it that Lloyd and Pierce broke into the safe of Rockwell and destroyed his political testament.

Knowing that they had a young, eager-beaver in the Stoner campaign, Robert Lloyd instructed Don Black to steal the membership list of the National States' Rights Party from Stoners' office, no doubt assuring him that such a deed would ingratiate him to the powers that be. Black was only too happy to accommodate.

What the 16-year-old didn't plan on was the vehemence with which Stoners' followers protected his files. As Don was lifting the roster out of the office, he was met with a .38- caliber hollow point to the chest. The gun was fired by Jerry Ray, brother of James Earl Ray. Jerry Ray beat the charges by claiming that he believed Black to be reaching for a weapon and fired in self-defense. Of course, it didn't help that Black was is in the process of committing a serious crime.

After college, Don Black hooked up with David Duke and began helping in the recruitment process as well as in Duke's political campaigns. The charlatanistic Duke schooled the young man in his beliefs that supremacy should be promoted as nationalism and that sheets should be traded for suits. The public persona was, of course, to always be quite different than the private.

In 1981, Don Black, along with nine other white supremacists tried their hands at becoming mercenaries. They were caught in the middle of trying to execute a planned coup that they dubbed "Operation Red Dog." The men were to leave out of a New Orleans marina and stage an offensive take-over of the small island of Dominica. They would do this with eight machine guns, ten shotguns, five rifles, ten handguns, ten pounds of dynamite, 5,496 rounds of ammunition, and a large Nazi flag.

When arrested, they were charged with "seeking to create a drug, gambling, and offshore banking empire on the island republic." Black made the following statement before being sentenced to three years in prison for violation of the U.S. Neutrality Act:

"What we were doing was in the best interest of the United States and its security in the hemisphere and we feel betrayed by our government."

Our federal prisons' rehabilitation services were made available to Mr. Black during his time there and he certainly put them to use. In some ways, you could say that that those services created a monster. Black immersed himself in computer programming classes and upon his release he knew he had a future.

First, he ran for a U.S. Senate seat - quite unsuccessfully. He also married the former Chole Duke - David Duke's ex-wife.

Black started experimenting with the internet. He quickly realized the potential the World Wide Web held for recruiting and networking with like-minded people the world over. The sheer anonymity that the net offered was compelling. His experimentation led to his creation of Stormfront in 1995. Stormfront has served as an umbrella and clearing house under which people from various hate groups and supremacy persuasions have been able to congregate, share information, and publish ideas for the last fourteen years. It has also served as a money-making enterprise for Don Black.

While Black left the Klan, he did not leave Duke or his organization. Quite the contrary. Through Stormfront, Black has provided a venue and a forum from which Duke can mentor and influence others in his endeavors.

It is important for the reader that we pause at this juncture and reflect upon a few pertinent truisms that might not be evident at this point. The three individuals profiled so far have some obvious commonalities.

All three have been extremely influential in the movement for decades. All three became involved in racist and anti-Semitic activities at a very young age. All three have made their livelihoods from the movement and illicit exploits. All three possess many of the same character flaws - amorality, criminal minds, and disloyalty. What may not be as evident is their recruitment and the influence of others sharing membership in certain groups.

Throughout the discussion thus far one name emerges time and time again - that of Dr. William Luther Pierce and his organization, the National Alliance. Accordingly, as is still the case today, cross-participation in various groups was not unheard of. As we progress through this look at our little circle of friends the reader is asked to keep in mind the names of certain individuals and organizations so as to be able to make the connections between them.

While names and acronyms such as the National Socialist White People's Party (NSWPP) or the National States' Rights Party (NSRP) may be confusing or even alien to the reader, it is important to grasp the scope of the ties that one has to the other.

Regardless of how baseless or unfounded the beliefs of the racist right seem to mainstream Americans, the truth is that many of the followers deeply buy into the rhetoric spewed by the leaders of these organizations. As you have seen, so far, membership lists are among the coveted assets of these groups largely because of the financial benefits. But, hate, to people like Pierce and Duke and Black is also a business. It is their job - their way of making a living.

Book sales, white-power music sales, speaking engagements, and member donations all help them to line the pockets of their organizations and themselves. But, there's more...much more. Political ties and palm-greasings are important and very necessary as well as friends in very high places.

Ron Paul has a Jewish Problem

Ron Paul has a Jewish problem.

Last month, the dark horse Republican candidate was barred from the Republican Jewish Coalition’s Candidate’s Forum due to his stance against providing further foreign aid to Israel.


Typical of his view, at an event on September 11 of this year at Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies, Paul argued for withdrawing from the Middle East, telling his audience that “Israel is quite capable of taking care of itself” — though interestingly adding that US policy has “hurt Israel tremendously.” Paul also downplayed the threat Iran poses to Israel, saying that even if Iran does develop nuclear arms, that it would not be a serious danger to Israel, which, he added, possesses roughly 300 nuclear weapons of its own.


Paul’s position towards Israel is not innately anti-Jewish, nor is it necessarily even anti-Israel — particularly with such a caveat about America impeding Israel’s interests. Such a statement lends weight, for example, to Zionist extremists who wish to terminate Israel’s Herodian dependence on the US, such as the members of Zionists for Ron Paul, a group run by American expatriates now living as religious settlers in the West Bank.


Nor is it a particularly uncommon position, especially within paleoconservative circles. Pat Buchanan led the charge in March of 2003, writing in The American Conservative that neoconservatives participating in and advising the Bush administration were steering the United States into wars that were not in America’s interests, but rather Israel’s.


Now fed up with the neocon’s wars abroad and the diminishing of civil liberties at home, many conservatives are rallying behind Paul, whom they view as the only Republican candidate who isn’t in the pocket of the Israel lobby. They have helped him become an Internet sensation — the Republican Howard Dean, if you will — who in the last quarter raised over $5 million, outpacing more mainstream candidates like John McCain.


Even with his hardline protectionist stance, Paul has managed to garner the support of Jewish Republicans and Libertarians alike, some of whom have banded together to form an ad hoc coalition called Jews for Ron Paul, which condemned the RJC’s decision to bar the Congressman from their Candidate’s Forum.


Yet, much to his Jewish supporters’ chagrin, Congressman Paul’s willingness to stand up to the neocons has also had the effect of making Paul a popular candidate among those from whom Presidential candidates would typically not desire support: Bona fide antisemites.


Indeed, Ron Paul has become the most popular candidate among right-wing extremists, including white separatists, neo-Nazis, and conspiracy theorists who believe that “the Zionists” were behind 9/11. This group includes Frank Weltner, creator of the antisemitic website JewWatch.com, who in a YouTube video, accuses the “Zionist-controlled media” of attacking Paul’s candidacy. Paul has also received favorable coverage from the Vanguard News Network, a White Nationalist news organ, members of Stormfront, an online neo-Nazi community, as well as the National Alliance, the “mainstream” White Nationalist group featured prominently in Marc Levin’s 2005 film Protocols of Zion.


Of course, Congressman Paul cannot be held accountable for the views of his extremist supporters, unless he publicly acquiesces to those views. Yet, when his extremist supporters begin providing a substantial amount of campaign funds, things get a bit dicier. And that’s Paul’s biggest problem.


According to the Lone Star Times, White Nationalists have become a noticeable source of financial contributions to the Paul campaign. Indeed, even Don Black, the founder of Stormfront, and one of the most notorious neo-Nazis in America, has personally contributed $500 to Paul’s campaign.


Though it’s true that Paul’s campaign has no control over who sends them money in advance, once it becomes apparent that a neo-Nazi leader is sending money, any sensible politician who does not wish to be identified with neo-Nazism should send the money back. Not so for Ron Paul, however, whose campaign is still making up its mind as to whether or not to return Black’s money.

Paul’s spokesman Jesse Benton told the Lone Star Times:

At this time, I cannot say that we will be rejecting Mr. Black’s contribution, but I will bring the matter to the attention of our campaign director again, and expect some sort of decision to be made in coming days.

Frankly, this is a no-brainer. Any other candidate would unequivocally reject that money as soon as its donor’s identity was known. That Paul’s campaign needs time to think about it is shocking.

Also of concern is the fact that Paul’s campaign has ignored my repeated attempts to interview the Congressman for JTA, the Jewish newswire service by which I am employed. I had intended to write a story about the Congressman, and to provide him with the opportunity to distance himself from his extremist supporters, to clarify his position on Israel, and to state his case to the Jewish community. Yet, after three weeks of repeated telephone calls, two chats with his Deputy Communications Director, and several left voicemail messages, I have yet to receive a callback to schedule an interview.


Which leads me to conclude the following about the Congressman from Texas: Ron Paul will take money from Nazis. But he won’t take telephone calls from Jews.

Seventy-eight year old Elie Wiesel has witnessed more in his time on earth than most of us ever will. Living through the Holocaust and being torn from his family would have caused most people to be bitter and frightened and, perhaps, reclusive. Not Elie, though. He continues to bring his message and his knowledge to audiences around the world.

Elie Wiesel was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986 for speaking out against violence, repression, and racism. The author of over 40 books, Eli Wiesel was presented with the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor in 1985, and was knighted in Great Britain in 2006. Elie has been called "a messenger to mankind." Frail, and soft spoken, Mr. Wiesel has been the recipient of countless awards and recognitions - yet his battle against racism and anti-Semitism took a step backward last week when he was accosted in a San Francisco hotel.

That's right. Elie Wiesel was pulled from an elevator while heading to his room and assaulted by a man calling himself "Eric Hunt." Today, the man responsible began posting a rant about his hate crime and how his plans to force Wiesel to make a videotape stating that he had lied about the Holocaust were foiled. "Hunt" got worried as Mr. Wiesel began to clutch his chest and scream for help so he ran. In his rant he claimed that the police were never called - false. Not only were they called, but they are now searching for the person responsible.

Today they may have caught a break as the opportunist and "Look at Me" Nazi claimed that he had confirmed that while the perpetrator of this despicable act is not a member of his American National Socialist Party, he is a supporter. One can only hope that such an admission will cause Mr. White to have to answer some questions to law-enforcement.

As one looks at the enormous list of accomplishments by Elie, one cannot help but ask what has his attacker, or even those who gloat over such an act, accomplished? "Eric Hunt" proved nothing in his rant. All he did was claim that certain things reported by Mr. Wiesel "never happened."

Bill White, who seemed rather pleased to announce that the perpetrator was a supporter of his, has bought some property, evicted people from their homes and, in essence, become a slum lord. He has paraded around in a Nazi "Wannabe" uniform and said a few Sieg Heils for the cameras. He has alienated many of those whose favor he has sought, and been the laughing stock of both the racists and the anti-racists.

Of course, with Bill White, you never know where the truth ends and the lies begin and it is highly possible that it is just more hot air being spewed as Bill enters another manic phase of his debilitating psychosis.

Elie Wiesel has more than proven his character and his integrity. What can we say about someone who would terrorize an old man on the way to his room? Perhaps that's why the "Eric Hunt's" and the Bill White's of this world will continue to find themselves getting their dicks slapped into the dirt everytime they turn around.
