Hal Turner, a New Jersey blogger, is getting the attention most folks who do what he does would love. Unfortunately, it's not positive attention.

A New Jersey blogger and former radio talk show host accused of urging his readers to "take up arms" against two Connecticut lawmakers is going to surrender and face charges of inciting violence here.

Harold "Hal" Turner, 47, whom some papers refer to as a “shock blogger,” waived extradition Monday and posted $25,000 bail.

He had been in custody since cops arrested him Thursday at the request of the Connecticut State Capitol Police, who obtained an arrest warrant charging Turner with inciting injury to persons or property.

Turner posted a colorful commentary on his We bsite about a controversial bill on Catholic parish finances that has died.

“It is retaliating against citizens for exercising their right to petition for redress of grievances. This is tyranny and it must be put down,’ he wrote.

TRN advocates Catholics in Connecticut take up arms and put down this tyranny by force. To that end, THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT ON "THE HAL TURNER SHOW" we will be releasing the home addresses of the Senator and Assemblyman who introduced Bill 1098 as well as the home address of Thomas K. Jones from the OSE.

After all, if they are so proud of what they're doing, they shouldn’t mind if everyone knows where they live.

It is our intent to foment direct action against these individuals personally. These beastly government officials should be made an example of as a warning to others in government: Obey the Constitution or die.

If any state attorney, police department or court thinks they're going to get uppity with us about this; I suspect we have enough bullets to put them down too.

The state pushed; it is about to get pushed back. Elected and other government officials sometimes need to be put in their place. They serve; they do not rule. They need to learn their place or be put there by force.

  1. If convicted (and it is an open and shut case) Hal will face at least one year in the Pen as his crime has a mandatory minimum. Maybe now fat boy will learn when to shut his pie hole.

  2. “I am saying that you cannot, through any manner, through any format, through any media… have any contact with these individuals as a condition of your bail,” Callahan said to Turner.

After the hearing, Turner’s lawyer Michael A. Orozco noted that his client was still free to write or speak about the lawmakers but could not instruct anyone to contact them.

  6. If this is all they have on Turner, he will plead to a misdemeanor charge.

If they have more, like they had with Bill White, who knows.

  8. Unless I see Hal Turner dressed in a military uniform, swinging a baton and standing in front of a polling place (like the Black Panthers did in Philadelphia last November 4th..), I'll just consider him to be another Internet poster with an opinion.
