As the flags are at half-mast this morning, my heart is heavy and my thoughts are with all of the victims and their families. Nidal Hasan left many victims in his wake - not just those he killed or wounded.

What being in a situation like that is like is beyond the imaginations of most of us. As all of this was unfolding, I was saying goodbye to a young man who is being deployed to Afghanistan this morning. My emotions were overflowing with grief and, of course, great concern for what lies ahead.

Regardless of how we feel about these horrendous wars, we must always remember that the young men and women being sent to these far off places are putting their lives in jeopardy for this country. I guess we now need to remember that they aren't just doing so on foreign soil.

  1. Hey old Ugly hippy bitch. Can you take that ugly fucking picture of yourself off this blog or at least put it farther down the page where I can't see it? It hurts my eyes.

  2. Your lack of ability to understand the serious nature of this thread is duly noted.

  3. As bits and pieces start to leak out about Hasan, I am, once again, shocked that no one realized that he was a loose cannon.

I just heard that he spent yesterday morning giving copies of the Koran to his friends and neighbors.

  4. Wow, why are racist("Real" White Man) people so mean and nasty? I think that Nikki looks like a pretty older woman. We all get old sometime.

  5. If that is the case he did it for Allah. That religion is seriously fucked up.

I used to frequent a blog that terrorists went to. I found it when searching for a video of my friend getting killed in Iraq. They thought it was so funny that they chopped my buddies head off, stripped him naked and put his clothes on to dance with his head in the nearest town.

I fought with those terrorists on a daily basis for a couple of years until they all disappeared on the same day.

These people actually think that the proof that Allah approves is the beautiful "sweet musky smell" that you can always smell right after the death of a martyr.

This guy giving out Quran's (the correct spelling) is a very strong sign of him doing this to be a martyr for Allah, therefore a domestic terrorist attack and army infiltration.

I'd like to blame it on Barack Hussein but I can not do so because this kind of thing really is impossible to stop.

The only thing we could do is say because we are fighting muslims, no muslims will be allowed to participate.

And since it is clear that the Muslims of America will not stand up as a group and denounce Islamic terrorism, you will all need to be sent to concentration camps where you will be well taken care of until this comes to an end.

  6. I'm working on a lengthy blog entry but I think I need to take a break to talk about this for a moment.

Anybody ever send a child off to war? I mean has anyone sent their son or daughter off to fight far from home in a foreign land? Ever feel the fear and worry start building up as you know there is a possibility of them going? Then it comes flooding in once you realise that, yes, you little girl or boy will be shot at.

While they are still here, that's when you just stand up to your neck in worry and dread all day. You know they are safe for now. As long as they are stateside, they are okay. Nothing is going to happen here. As soon as they leave, the worry and dread goes over your head and you are consumed daily by outright fear. Each day you watch the news and hear about 3...5...17 men and women losing their lives, any of them could be your son or daughter.

But before that time, you have that window of security while they prepare to go into the combat zone. Not anymore.

This man tore away what military families hoped they could hold onto for a time longer (forever if they thought the war would never come here). That stateside security zone is gone---forever. Yes, that's to our "my color is OD green, same as everybody" attitudes and policies, this happened a lot more easily than it needed to.

For example, do you think this kind of thing happens in the PLA? That's about all I have to say on the politics of this matter.

The point is, the war(s) are coming home, America. I've said it and I'll say it again. Blood is going to soak this ground. I hate it like I hate nothing else but it's a fact. As the leaves fall from the trees, as the tides go out and come back in, as the days get shorter and longer again: war is coming home for America. We've lived by the sword for a long time now, even to the point where little bandit states like Israel can point our cannons in almost any direction.

Now we die by the sword. I don't take any pleasure in that statement as I do when considering that old Christian proverb in my own life. For all the lives we've helped ripped to shreds in the Middle East, we just got a big pieces ripped from ours.

This man tore away that safe zone that all military families "enjoy". Not only did he achieve his apparent goals through direct action but through indirect action as well. See how easy it is to shoot up a crowd of soldiers stateside? It's even easier with a home made bomb. You can trade your life for a dozen others at least. You'll be a real hit in Heaven.

Other issues exist. Other sides need to be heard but my initial point is that military families can't feel safe stateside anymore.

  7. Nikki, I'd ignore the insults from those who are too afraid to put their faces next to their beliefs. I've always put my face next to what I'm all about and someone not prepared to do so either doesn't really believe in their cause or is a coward.

  8. Thanks Cindy.

Hooch and Chris...thanks for the well thought out posts. Also...thanks for the correct spelling - I knew something was wrong.

I am concerned that once others see how easy it was for Hasan to do what he did we will see a lot more of this sort of thing.

  9. Where the hell do you get off talking about sending a child off to war Drake. You're basement commando ass is 4F material. Try to not to disgrace us Veterns who have served our country with you Neo-nazi BDU's.

  10. I never said I sent a child off to war, dumbass. I just said that I understood what people went through when they do. Just fuck off on this one. Seriously. You never have a damn thing intelligent to add to any conversation that takes place here anyway.

  11. Why Drake, because I know you for a poser want to be? Go join a branch of the service any branch then you can talk about the military. Oh yeah they don't let certifiable punks into the US armed service. Imagine that.

  12. Well I guess they are going to get rid of "Don't ask Don't tell" so you can now join Little Boa.

  13. Boa, you are acting really Jewish, which I'm sure to you in a compliment. You just know for sure that I've never served in any military, huh? You know because you want it to be true so it is. We're all sad about what happened at Fort Hood and if you were, you'd at least stop being a two year old for five minutes.

And while you are at it, why not make up some military experience of your own? And you must not have been taught how to drive a car during your term since you've been "going to get Mike Blevins" since 2001.

  14. They need to get those muslim freaks out of military and anyone else who is muslim. They don't fit in with us and they never will.

  15. To that, Steve, I would ask everyone if they think since this so-called War on Terror takes us into the realm of Islam, is it asking too much to expect Muslim soldiers to fight with us?

  16. They are better off not fighting with us and locked up with good conditions in a concentration camp in the United States.

It has now been confirmed, he did it for Allah.

"""Relatives said he felt harassed because of his Muslim faith but did not embrace extremism. Others were not so sure. A recent classmate said Hasan once gave a jarring presentation to students in which he argued the war on terrorism was a war against Islam, and "made himself a lightning rod for things" when he felt his religious beliefs were challenged.

Investigators were trying to piece together how and why Hasan allegedly gunned down his comrades in the worst case of violence on a military base in the U.S. The rampage unfolded at a center where some 300 unarmed soldiers were lined up for vaccines and eye tests.

Soldiers reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" — an Arabic phrase for "God is great!" — before opening fire Thursday, said Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, the base commander. He said officials had not confirmed Hasan made the comment."""

And please note that they said Allahu Akbar means "God is Great!" but it does not mean this. This is an improper translation used to keep the radical Christians at peace in the United States. Allahu Akbar really means "Allah is the Greatest". And they do not think of Allah as the exact same god as we have. So even translating the word Allah to God is incorrect.

  17. Oh, I think his religion and beliefs played a major part in this. There is no doubt in my mind.

I just can't imagine that we would even entertain the idea of sending Muslim soldiers into the Middle East to fight for us.

  18. Thank God it wasn't a white guy...they would have been calling for more gun control and "keep a closer eye" on the militia and WN movements.

  19. But the UK and now America pull out the welcome matt for those that think like this Major.

What about the Gitmo detainees that are now living on beach front property in the Bahamas on our dime?

We are losing the nation folks, and the Nikki is has been part of that crowd in the past that advocate for "diversity" that got some 11 servicemen killed.
