Uh...$100,000 For Project ValHALla

Lawyer: Turner was on anti-terror payroll

HARTFORD — Hal Turner, the intermittent blogger and Internet radio host, was back in Superior Court Thursday after more than four months in jail, with his New Jersey attorney predicting federal and state charges against him will be thrown out.

Turner is charged here with inciting his followers to injure state Rep. Michael Lawlor, D-East Haven, Sen. Andrew McDonald, D-Stamford, and a state worker.

In June, Turner on his Web site urged people to “take up arms” against the three men over a bill that would have given Roman Catholic lay members more control over parish finances and a lobbying issue.

He spent most of his jail time incarcerated in federal prison in Illinois, charged this summer with threatening to assault and murder three federal appeals court judges in Chicago in retaliation for a ruling upholding handgun bans.

The case here was pushed off to Dec. 17, while the federal charges have been transferred to federal District Court in Brooklyn, N.Y., for Dec. 1 because of conflicts involving the federal judges in Illinois.

Turner’s main attorney, Michael Orozco of New Jersey, said after the brief court session that FBI documentation he has received details Turner’s alleged relationship as an informant for the FBI from 2003 through 2008.

Orozco said that, for now, he can only share the FBI documents with Connecticut prosecutors.

He said they include pay sheets showing the FBI budgeted $100,000 or more a year for Turner as part of its Joint Terrorism Task Force, as well as correspondence between then-U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Christopher Christie and the FBI detailing parameters of the project, dubbed “Vahalla.”

Christie was elected governor of New Jersey this month; he takes office Jan. 19.

Randall Sanborne, spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office for the northern district of Illinois, would not comment Thursday on Vahalla, Christie’s alleged memos or any aspect of the Turner case.

Orozco said the material substantiates Turner’s claims he was trained as to what was acceptable speech, and while he wasn’t in the employ of the FBI when he did his Internet posts on the judges and Connecticut lawmakers, he said he followed the same guidelines.

The attorney was asked why Turner continued to make what law enforcement officials took as threatening remarks after he was no longer on the FBI payroll.

“He is a shock jock, nothing else. He gave a heated, but protected opinion as to what these (Connecticut) legislators were doing and that’s all. He didn’t ask anyone to commit any act of violence,” Orozco said.

The federal court ordered Turner not to talk on the telephone, Internet or to the media until the case is adjudicated, Orozco said.

Mr. Turner’s show was funded by his listeners and this is what he did for a living. He wasn’t trying to do anything illegal and never had committed an illegal act,” Orozco said. His main defense is that Turner’s remarks are protected speech.

Orozco, a silent Turner at his side, said it was “outrageous” the FBI arrested Turner for a kind of behavior they allegedly taught him.

he attorney said Turner “wasn’t making any of that alleged vitriolic speech — before he was approached by the FBI.”

Orozco said documents show Turner was “tasked ... to use fiery rhetoric so as to flush-out crazies before they attacked.” He said it allegedly netted more than 100 federal subjects and averted 10 acts of violence. He said they described Turner as “irreplaceable” and “crucial ... to the prevention of domestic terrorism and lone wolf attacks in the United States.”

Orozco alleges state police issued a false fugitive arrest warrant for Turner when they asked New Jersey police to arrest him in June before he could post lawmakers’ addresses. He said he is looking into possible criminal or civil charges against them.

A spokesman for the chief state’s attorney’s office could not be reached for comment.

  1. So, the government was handing out 100 grand to act like a crazy man...good work, if you can get it.

    Jeeeeeezus Christ!

No wonder the government is in fucking debt.

  4. Makes you wonder who is currently on the payroll...doesn't it?

This is my guess as to what really happened:

Obama/Holder looked at some of Bush's relics of the war against terror (including the alleged homegrown) and decided it was time to get rid of the Bush operatives.

Perhaps not a very wise choice on the part of Obama/Holder...my God look how they are handling the showtrial in New York.

Anyway, it's got to be something like that.

  5. According to Hal's attorney...

"Whether or not the US Attorney takes action, Turner’s legal team is confident the charge against him will be dismissed before trial. They have good cause to be confident. It turns out that Hal Turner was a highly trained intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) from 2003 through 2008 and actually contributed to the FBI’s mission starting back in 1993."

  6. If even half of this bullshit is true, then I would have to conclude the government doesn't really have a case against Turner.

It sure does. If Turner was that valuable of an asset the Obama people blew a lot of money to make a point.

Nikki, this just fucking boggles my mind. It doesn't matter what side of the fence you are on this doesn't look right on any angle.

Well...I've been questioning the sanity of this attorney anyway. Everything he writes and claims is over the top - very reminiscent of Hal.

And...if all of this is true - I don't know why they busted Hal or if they have any kind of case.

As the ol' Jewish man at the deli used to say: "This is what I am saying".

Anyway, if you think it through to the logical conclusion (I know some of you here are smart enough) it is freightening what is happening.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well, one thing is for certain:

Neither the FBI or the DOJ is denying anything Hal's attorney is saying.

  26. Orozco says...

The defense plans to introduce memos from the United States Attorney Generals John Ashcroft, McClusky and later Alberto Gonzales which laid out the relationship between Turner and the government. They will also produce FBI memos, pay sheets showing the FBI budgeted $100,000 or more per year for Turner, and correspondence between the FBI and then-U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Christopher Christie detailing the training, pay and operating parameters of the intelligence operation code named “Valhalla.”

Christ Christie was elected Governor of New Jersey earlier this month, and his involvement in this FBI operation could prove to be his first scandal.

FBI memos describe Turner as “irreplaceable” and go on to say his being with the JTTF is “. . . . .crucial . . . . .to the prevention of domestic terrorism and lone wolf attacks in the United States.”

In the years Turner served the FBI he uncovered Narcotics funding of terrorist groups, unlawful manufacturing and distribution of silencers for hand guns, he stopped the black market sale of Military Hardware used in Stealth aircraft, located a pipe bomb maker, prevented the arson-murder of a Jewish college student in Tennessee and much more.

He achieved this by portraying himself as a radical, racist “bad boy” on the radio. Turns out, it was all an FBI front.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's spelled Valhalla.

With an "L" before the "H".

    ReplyDelete
  28. Christie would be denying this...his handlers are not denying it either.

If this was all just so much Turnereque bullshit, someone would deny it. Christie isn't bound by the same rules as the DOJ and FBI...surely his office or handlers would comment.

I re-read what you posted and I am fascinated as well as terrorfied by it at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I have a feeling that this goes much further than even Turner's attorney is willing to say in public.

I do believe this case will be dropped--very soon.

    ReplyDelete
  30. As much as I despise Hal Turner for leading us on and begging for money all these years, he does not deserve this treatment from the Feds. It just goes to show that the Feds use you, then throw you out like a used condom when they're done.

If the Feds ran him for 14 years, they should back him up now.

  31. Nikki, serious question:

Are you a smoker? My guess would be that you are judging from the photograph--I just have this inate ability to guess if people smoke or not and what car someone will get into when coming out of the mall (use to play that game when we were kids).

    ReplyDelete
  32. I just can't believe that Hal work for the FBI. I just can't believe he was paid anywhere near that much. As I have said before you have to justify expenditures like that sort before committees.

Another thing that bothers me is that this story (and claims) just keeps getting bigger and bigger and they don't really jive with some of the earlier claims. I will be interested in the out come of this case.

    ReplyDelete
  33. """Anonymous said...This is my guess as to what really happened:

Obama/Holder looked at some of Bush's relics of the war against terror (including the alleged homegrown) and decided it was time to get rid of the Bush operatives."""

You meant to say the Clinton Operatives. Clinton first started office in 1993. And Hal has supposedly been out of the game for a while with the FBI. So that means that the Bush administration at one point in time got rid of the Clinton Ops. As the eliminating "racists" issue was not quite as important to Bush.

Now where this put Hal in the book of the lefties?

Is Hal a good guy now? He used to be an enemy around here.

Or is Hal nothing more than a typical "BIG" Government police state employee.

And that leads to the question that gets to the bottom of the entire problem in the United States. Should Democrats change their position on being pro big government. That every solution to every problem is a government agency or government intervention in some way or another.

Maybe you guys can keep the beading heart liberal garbage but lay off the growth of government desire a little.

Or we all should join up with the Libertarians and say fuck the government. Eliminate all federal government control down to only what they have been given by our founding fathers. The sole purpose of military protection against foreign invaders. And that is it.

We will let the states make their own laws as is intended in the Constitution.

The American people are presently under lockdown by the federal government. Things are changing very quickly and the preparation for a political conversion from a republic to an oligarchy is well underway.

Libs, if you are open minded enough, take a look at this video so you will learn a little about the various structures of government. This will allow you to recognize signs of where we are headed.

The modified Health Care Bill by the Senate is now done and Senator Jim Webb said it will be voted on within 72 hrs. They convienently made it public on Friday night so they can vote on it Monday so there is not enough time for the Monday - Friday media to look it over and discuss it.

I am seeing a whole bunch of bullshit in this plan.

  39. In the Kennett, MO case she took a plea bargain...

Ellis agreed to plead guilty to disturbing the peace and resisting arrest, and in doing so prosecutors have agreed to drop the assault charges.

Under the deal that Ellis has accepted she must serve one year of unsupervised probation, take anger management classes, and serve four days in the Dunklin County Jail sometime this year at her convenience.

  44. """Anonymous Anonymous said...Hooch, have you called your elected representative yet?"""

Yes, their phone numbers are programmed into my phone. I also email them on a regular basis. To the degree that I can almost guarantee that they know who I am and likely have put me on a domestic terrorist list simply because I disagree with socialism.

"""Hooch, in all likelihood they are going to pass this thing regardless of what the people want."""

This is basically what Senator Warner of VA told me. They don't even need that 1 vote they keep talking about. There was some process he was talking about that I didn't really understand.

    """What's your take on it?"""

Unlike my conservative counterparts on AM radio who are paid by the AMA, etc. I do agree with health care reform. BUT in a free market manor. And the republicans completely dropped the ball on this when designing their own plan that no one ever heard of.

And they make the excuses that the media wouldn't report on their plans. Which we all know is a big lie. I can guarantee that AM radio would have outlined it by detail if it was given to them.

The health care system is fucked up when a person can get a serious illness, get in a hit and run by another car, etc and be in complete financial ruin due to this.

As a landlord, I look for below wholesale property, forclosures, etc. Basically desperation situations where people need money right away for some reason or another. How else could I get a house for 25-50% of it's value? Desperation situations only;.

And a great deal of these situations are someone who is in financial ruin and owes hospitals and doctors often 50-150K plus. Good people who are screwed to the wall by the health care industry. And these extraordinary expenses they have is not due to "big pharm". It's not due to "big insurance".

When I do a title search to see who they owe and who I am going to have to negotiate with to be able to buy the house, it is the local hospitals and doctors.

And most would be shocked if you actually were able to count up the amount of hours the doctors had to work for that money. It adds up pretty quickly when you have to go to the hospital and they charge you $2,000 for one hour that you were actually back there waiting. And how much time were the doctors actually talking to them? 5 minutes? Maybe you got treated well and got about 10 minutes of nurse time too.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Now put that into a situation where someone got in a hit and run and is hospitalized for a week. And they have no insurance to pay for it.

Think about the last time you went to the doctor for a general checkup. What did he or she bill your insurance company for the 5 minutes you had with them, 15 minutes taking your blood pressure and weighing you by the nurse, and a whole bunch of time waiting. All in all you probably got 20min or less of service. And probably got billed $250 plus.

The real source of the rising health care costs is not anything that the Democrats or Republicans are talking about. It is the doctors. It is the general practitioner that makes 250K a year. It is the doctor, straight out of school, working for the hospital in their first year for 150K.

And I don't want to hear the garbage that they have to pay extraordinary costs for school. No other doctorate degree pays anywhere near what they get in the medical field. And a general practitioner treating people with the sniffles all day is not worth more than 40K a year in my opinion. Simple work that a nurse could do.

Get a job in a hospital and make 150K the first year, live like you were living in college that year on 25K or less and your school would be paid for in year ONE.

Don't get me wrong. I agree that people should have the right to make whatever they can. BUT, the only reason doctors make what they do is the AMA dictates how many of them will graduate and be allowed into med school per year. They are illegally controlling the supply and demand.

To the degree that most doctors don't even have to advertise like all other businesses do. The solution to the entire issue is to enforce the laws we already have on the books. NO monopolies (AMA). Create a monopoly and you create the ability to control the supply and demand.

AND the Republicans dropped the ball on enforcing the laws we have because their pockets were getting lined. AND now we are fucked for what they have done.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Without caps being placed on insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, and doctors there will be no reform - just more of the same. Without some kind of assurances that families cannot be bankrupted by medical costs, there will be no reform.

I haven't waded through the 2,000+ pages but from what I have seen - there will be no reform. This bill seems to be nothing more than a pandering to the people who are currently gouging the hell out of those of us who are struggling just to keep our heads above water.

I am thoroughly disgusted. And that is from someone who has been supportive - until now.

  62. Hey boa! How's your fan-dedication site coming along? Must suck to be you!

Wow, I bet it is that Little Boa freak. I'm starting to think that a great deal of these radical anti's are homosexuals. Boa in particular.

  66. Why do you even claim to think Hooch/Von you're much too fucking stupid for that. What part of SHUT THE FUCK UP YOUR STUPID LITTLE CUNT. Didn't you understand.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Twinkle Toes speaks again.

What you are doing is not right Boa. God made Adam and Eve, Not Adam and Steve. God would have put ovaries up your ass if he thought it would be a good idea for a man to shove his pole up another mans backside.

You're a nasty dude. I smell shit just talking to you.

  68. I think someone is on a fishing expedition (voncadre blog)to get von's shows since he pulled the plug on his site over a year ago.

It's not like the feds are going to announce, "please, send us your copies of this show."

    I would avoid that website.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Who the hell would be dumb enough to believe that the feds don't already have all the Vonbluvens shows? Didn't Von used to operate from the Hal Turner Network?

    ReplyDelete
  70. "Who the hell would be dumb enough to believe that the feds don't already have all the Vonbluvens shows?"

    I wouldn't bank on that.

  71. Shut up Von/Hooch. Before someone has to send some child porn to your house, bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Looks like whoever created the VON site just made it "invitation only".

I suspected it was a NIMbusters production and confirmed it by seeing all the flames about it way before it was posted here or elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Didn't vonbluvens announce his resignation the movement and denounced racism over a year ago here and at VNNF?

    ReplyDelete
  74. "This blog is open to invited readers only
    http://vonbluvenscadre.blogspot.com/ "

  75. No one gives a shit about that stupid fucker Blevins. He is a fucking idiot. He cheered on 911 someone should shoot him in the fucking head.

    ReplyDelete
  76. True anti-racist are probably happy not to hear vonbluvens pollute the net. One has to wonder at the motivations of trying to rouse this guy. I don't know who is worse--the Nazis or the assholes that urge them on--or in this case to aggrevate the guy hoping he will return to broadcasting or worse.

Whoever is doing this--they ain't anti-racist like Nikki.

I know this sounds crazy but I AM ALL FOR the age of aninomity to end on the internet--the bullshit would definitity stop, wouldn't it?

  77. "Didn't vonbluvens announce his resignation the movement and denounced racism over a year ago here and at VNNF?"

Nobody took that shit seriously the fist or last ten times he did it.

Well, he hasn't done a show in almost 2 years now.

  79. I flagged the vonbluvenscadre blog for racism.

    ReplyDelete
  83. They better keep that site by invitation only. I will red flag it every chance I get otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  84. It's that idiot Pete Goodman aka NewsRat he is spamming the Nimboard as well about Von. He's a fucking dumbass.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I can't help but wonder if you guys are really that bored, or really that desperate.

And...some of you just plain don't make good sense. You see "VonBluvens" behind every post. I guess if you can't call them a "Jew" or a "commie" then it must be a "Von."

Good grief! Get a f*n life!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Time to let the name of "Vonbluvens" die.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I would rather just see Blevins die.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Von definitely made a very strong impression on you fagots.

What exactly did he do to you?

He seems to have bigger stardom than Obama around here.

  89. Interesting bit of information.

    """What
did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in
    common?

Here is something that should be of great
interest for you to pass around.
    I didn't know of this
until it was pointed out to me.

    Back
during The Great Depression, President Herbert
    Hoover ordered the
    deportation of ALL illegal aliens
in order to make jobs available to American
    citizens that
    desperately needed work...

    Harry
Truman deported over two million Illegal's
    after WWII to create jobs
    for returning
    veterans.

    And then again in
1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13
    million
Mexican Nationals! The program was called
    'Operation Wetback'.. It was
    done so WWII and Korean
Veterans would have a better chance at
    jobs.
    It
took 2 Years, but they deported them!

    Now....if
they could deport the illegal's back then - they could sure
    do it today?

lf you have doubts about the
    veracity of this information,
    enter Operation
    Wetback into your favorite
search engine and confirm it for
    yourself."""

    ReplyDelete
  90. Like I told Nikki and others that wring their hands about not being able to do anything about the illegals already here-- It has been done many times before in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Political correctness has really screwed with our ability to actually do anything.

I would love to see another Operation Wetback. 60% of them were LEGAL Mexicans. We didn't play around back in the day. Liberalism has done some real damage to this country.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I'm still waiting to see the evidence that proves Jim Ramm is on the FBI payroll. I seemed to miss that testimony in court or his confession to the media.

He did say he quit because of Burnout.

Again, what is your proof he is a snitch? Please enlighten me and I will put him on my shit list!
