Radio host denies threatening federal judges
July 28, 2009 12:59 PM | 3 Comments
An Internet radio host pleaded not guilty today to threatening to kill three federal appellate judges in Chicago and then sought his release from custody, saying he has been an informant for the FBI.

Hal Turner, who was arrested last month at his home in New Jersey, shook his head after being handed a copy of the indictment.

Turner is charged with calling for appellate judges Frank Easterbrook, William Bauer and Richard Posner to be killed after they affirmed a lower court decision June 2 to dismiss challenges to Chicago's handgun ban.

Turner allegedly used his web site to put out the message that all three were "cunning, ruthless, untrustworthy, disloyal, unpatriotic, deceitful scum."

"Let me be the first to say this plainly: These judges deserve to be killed," he allegedly said.

A federal judge from Louisiana will be brought in to preside over the case.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Martin Ashman gave Turner 10 days to subpoena an FBI agent who Turner contends acted as his handler as he supplied the government with information. Turner's lawyer, Michael Orozco, said Turner prevented military equipment from being sold on the Internet and even tipped off the U.S. Marshal Service to a threat against President Barack Obama.

"So you're saying he's an American hero," Ashman said somewhat sarcastically.

As for the charges, Orozco said Turner was only giving his opinion on the judges' ruling and that he has a Constitutional right to free speech.

Assistant U.S. Atty. William Hogan said a magistrate judge in New Jersey had already ordered Turner detained before he was sent to Chicago, finding that he was a threat to the community. He has continued to air threatening radio messages on the Internet since his arrest, including a call placed from custody in New Jersey, Hogan said.

Hogan said Turner may have had some contact with the FBI as an informant but that it was quite some time ago. He said he had no idea about any action Turner supposedly took to thwart an attack on the president.

  3. Nikki,

One could say that Hal's racist program was sort of condoned by the FBI in not an outright endorcement...maybe Darly Lamont Jenkins was right when he said Orlando, Fl. NSM rally was totally a FBI production.

Did the FBI cut Hal Turner lose?

    Serious question to Nikki:

Is it possible HT is talking about of his ass and that he isn't a snitch at all?

  4. I have considered the possibility that this is just another Turner fabrication.

Remember there was something said in some article that referenced the initial complaint and something about Turner's "mental problems." Does anyone remember where that was?

Also - I have no doubt that DLJ was right about Orlando. You know what they say - when the feds are done with you they really don't care.

Turner has 10 days to produce his handler - we'll see just how valued Hal is.

  5. The FBI has employed scumbags of the lowest order as informants for years. If anything, it makes his scumbagginess all the more likely.

  9. Well, it's possible that Hal has put himself in a very bad position. How will it look now if he were allowed to walk?

Also - if there is no truth in Hal's claim, what else is he willing to give up to get out?

But...until we have some answers...keep sending that money to Phyllis. And if he beats the charges - then you know he will need lots of help getting his show back on the air.

Hal Turner Admits He Worked for the FBI

In a lame attempt to save his hide and stay out of prison for allegedly threatening to kill federal judges, the racist talk show host Hal Turner has admitted in court that he is an FBI informant, the Chicago Breaking News Center reports today.

FBI informant and operative Hal Turner seen in state Superior Court in Jersey City in June with his lawyer.

Alex Jones and others have argued for some time that the white supremacist from North Bergen, New Jersey, is an FBI informant.

Assistant U.S. Atty. William Hogan tried to dismiss Turner’s admission. “Hogan said Turner may have had some contact with the FBI as an informant but that it was quite some time ago,” reports Jeff Coen. Recent evidence, however, reveals that Turner has continued his relationship with the feds.

Documentation emerged in 2008 exposing Turner as an FBI operative. “Hal Turner, rising in fame as the most blatant hate talk radio host, self-proclaimed neo-nazi, antisemite, racist who hinted at the need to eradicate Jews — turns out to have been fronting a typical FBI COINTELPRO sting operation,” writes Richard Evans. Hackers managed to gain access to his forum server and revealed correspondence with an FBI agent who was apparently Turner’s handler.

As documented by Brian Glick and others, under COINTELPRO, the FBI subsidized, armed, directed and protected the Klu Klux Klan and other racist groups, including the “Secret Army Organization” of California.

The FBI is notorious for unleashing informants and provocateurs. In 2008, it was discovered that informants working for the FBI were at the center of a supposed terror plot aimed at the Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey. One of the of the informants received nearly $240,000 in taxpayer money for his role in the operation.

In 2007, the FBI was caught manipulating seven impoverished residents of Liberty City, Florida, attempting to get them to blow up the Sears tower in Chicago. As it turns out, the supposed terror plot and the principal source of resources for the group came in the form of an FBI informant posing as an “Al Qaeda representative.” The two informants — Abbas al-Saidi and Elie Assad — earned over $130,000 for their services to the FBI.

    A d v e r t i s e m e n t

Earlier this year, the FBI lured a gang of pathetic would-be terrorists in New York with “piles of cash and gifts and even bags of weed,” according to the New York Post. The men were later charged with plotting to blow up synagogues and military jets.

Other incidents of FBI agents provocateurs attempting to get people to engage in violent and illegal acts are legendary. The McDavid case, for instance, received attention in 2006. “In January 2006, Eric McDavid, Lauren Weiner, and Zachary Jenson were arrested in California and charged with knowingly conspiring to use fire or explosives to damage property,” writes Jennifer Van Bergen for Raw Story. It was later revealed that a paid FBI confidential informant named “Anna” had not only infiltrated peace and justice rallies and anarchist meetings, but had acted as a provocateur in the McDavid case. “McDavid’s attorney, Mark Reichel, states that Anna was always pushing McDavid to do something criminal, taught the three how to make the bombs, supervised their activities, and repeatedly threatened to leave them if they didn’t start doing ’something,’” Van Bergen writes.

  13. part 2:

Considering this blatant history of FBI provocation, it is entirely possible that Hal Turner was encouraged by the agency to issue threats against federal judges. Turner was arrested on June 3, 2009, for issuing threats against two politicians in Connecticut and a state ethics official. He was re-arrested on June 24 and charged with issuing threats against judges of the United States Court of Appeals in Chicago.

It is no mistake the federal authorities arrested Turner at approximately the same time the Department of Homeland Security was coming under fire for its now infamous “rightwing extremism” report that specifically warns about violence on the part of white supremacists who are conveniently connected by the government to returning veterans, defenders of the Second Amendment, pro-life activists, and patriot groups.

It is common knowledge the FBI collaborated with Morris Dees’ Southern Poverty Law Center in a joint effort to create violent white supremacist groups where none existed before. A declassified FBI memo reveals that the SPLC had informants at Elohim City on the eve of the Oklahoma City bombing. “If I told you what we were doing there, I would have to kill you,” Dees said during a press conference.

Hal Turner, by his own courtroom admission, is a classic government patsy burned by the people he attempted to collaborate with. He will likely have a lot of time to think about the stupidity of his actions in federal prison.

    it is also not that hard to obtain "light infantry ordinance" such as fragmentation grenades, satchel charges, mortars, bazookas & 50-clbr machine-guns/portable cannons from gun shows/ex-military personnel/gun-mercenary magazines;

FCK!!....all you'd have to do is "bribe" some nigga or spic' working @ an Army supply depot to get enough "military hardware" to equip a batallion!......guess that's the "down-side" of recruiting corruptible, incompetent non-whites into the mil', eh?!?

once such "gear" has been acquired, it's then just a matter of un-leashing it against ZOG & its fckn minions!

  27. Here's how I feel about the Hal Turner thing:

Hal and the movement reminds me of a bad man and a trusting woman. He talks not a good game...he talks a great game. When the two first meet, she's found her answers right there in him. He's the best thing to ever happen to her and you couldn't tell her different if you tried. There will be no more bumps in the road now that she's riding with him.

So the first thing negative happens. Most women would run away at this point. Not this one. She's waited too long for someone like him who says the things he says. Oh and the way he says them. She gets upset with him but after a short explaination not only is she ok, but she's defending him to her friends.

After a while it happens again. He cheats or maybe she gets a lip busted. This time she decides to pull away. It's a useless effort. She's already entralled in the idea of HIM, not the idea of being in a healthy relationship, marriage, children, realization of dreams, etc. He sold her on himself good, didn't he? The swelling on her eye hasn't even gone away and he's got her somehow feeling sorry for him. How many times did the movement feel sorry for Hal when they should have tossed him as far away as possible?

So then it's not about her or them anymore, it's about him period. In some ways, she's fine with that. We've got no shortage of how much she fears sucess.

So then comes the big fall out. Maybe he breaks something this time. Maybe he cheats on her with someone close. Whatever the case, the poor girl finally leaves. She's with friends now. He's gone. Then you hear her say something shocking, "oh, I do miss him..." Damn what she went through. Damn what her family had to go through and forget all the friends she lost along the way. The hell with every great opportunity she passed up to be with the clown, the entertainer, the story spinner. She's weak and she'd rather play along with his act than work at forging something solid in real life.

That's how I see it. The movement is that self-enslaved woman who is shackled by every trickster, clown and smooth talker to come along. Hal is the KING of it. He cheated on you with the feds? He spit in your face about 100 times before that? Why should he have respected any of you? Do you think he believed his own bullshit just like you did?

Grow up, thinking whites and stand up for yourself. Have some self respect. Don't trade entertainment for activism. Don't trade a dull work horse for a pretty hobbie horse. No more Hal Turners!

    ReplyDelete
  28. And what about the Obama assasination plot Hal reportedly stopped? Any adult who discussed illegal activity with Hal Turner needs to be off the street for their own good. Think you want to commit one of the biggest crimes in the eyes on the American media? Gee, I think I'll tell the most suspected federal imformant in America about it. Besides, a house-husband with an internet radio show is the person I want to impress. He can't even keep his show on the air for any length of time but maybe he can somehow help me pull this off?

Am I the only one who sees how stupid this all is?

  30. Nobody is crying about anything. You have to laugh at something like this. If Hal was anything but a smooth talking con artist, he would have been tossed out of the movement and never allowed back in years ago. Now he admits to what most thinking people knew years ago: he's a rat. People are still trying to reason around that. "Oh, maybe he's just saying that...maybe he has some sort of plan!"

(shaking head) He got caught being rat years ago. He was suspected of it before that. He admits to being a rat. Some people want to think he's not one. Fine. Whatever.

  31. Anonymous 10:20 AM - That was very well put! I think you painted the picture with all the right colors.

I don't know how long we have been saying that Hal was an informant - but I DO know that for at least seven years I have been speculating that the only way he could get away with some of his bullshit is if he was more valuable on the outside than on the inside.

Time and again, racists and anti-racists have pointed this out. Right here on this blog, people have asked how he got away with some of his mess when others were getting popped. Yet, money was being sent to him, people were supporting his show, and several were defending him.

Hal said he was an entertainer. Bill White said that you couldn't believe everything he, himself, printed. Yet, these two people could become martyrs or heroes for the white nationalist movement. That should definitely tell someone something about the state of the so-called movement. As long as the Hal Turner's and the Bill White's have a following the movement's credibility will be compromised.

Anchorage - I disagree about Frazier Glenn Miller. Believe me - he's making a list and someone else is checking it twice.

  34. Wake me up when the real movement shows up.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I believe you might be correct but for various reasons.

What made me think of Hal's relationship to the movement as a relationship between an evil man and an abused woman was the phone call from prison.

This is one for all the abused women out there: how many times has he cried and poured his heart out to you? You just knew he was sincere that time. You just had to believe that this was the real thing, not an act. "If I have to give my life for freedom...then here it is, sniff sniff..." It kind of did a number on me too for a little while!

You know why people like that can always sound so much like they "mean it"? It's because for just a moment, they do. They become that person we imagine. They turn into that person we love so much. THEN BAMM! You catch one across the face!

You've had plenty of black eyes in the past, white nationalism. How's the broken ribs? Still talk to all the serious people who were interested in you a while back? Ever hear from the section of people who supported you by default? Nooo, you don't! You traded it all in for people like Hal and others! Maybe you've wasted your youth...poor thing. All that hard living through imformants, scumbags, cowards, liars, blowhards, weirdos, and the like has taken it's toll. The years have not been kind to you, dearheart! You were a pretty thing at first with great intentions. Now due to repeated bad judgement, you're the bar-fly of grass roots politics. Sympathy is your only hope now.

  51. The more money will be spent on government-run healthcare, the less healthcare we will get. This kind of result is generally true of all government bureaucracies because of the absence of any market feedback mechanism. Since there are no profits in an accounting sense, by definition, in government, there is no mechanism for rewarding good performance and penalizing bad performance. In fact, in all government enterprises, exactly the opposite is true:

bad performance (failure to achieve ostensible goals, or satisfy "customers") is typically rewarded with larger budgets. Failure to educate children leads to more money for government schools. Failure to reduce poverty leads to larger budgets for welfare state bureaucracies. This is guaranteed to happen with Obamacare as well.

  53. From LFRadio - July 29

We are posting this news story from KSWB (Fox)to show people that you can be arrested and found guilty if you use the internet to threaten people. Alesson that Hal Turner is going to learn - LFRadio

SAN DIEGO, California - Walter Edward Bagdasarian walked out of federal court Tuesday morning the same way he walked in, wearing a stoic expression on his face and clutching the hand of his wife. But, when Bagdasarian came out of the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building he was a man guilty of threatening the man running for the country's top spot, now President Barack Obama.

"The government's position essentially was that the defendent intended to make a threat," said Assistant United States Attorney William Cole. "Again, the law does not turn on whether he intends to carry it out but whether he intends to make a threat."

Bagdasarian requested and was granted a bench trial, meaning no jury decided his fate. In finding him guilty U. S. District Judge Marilyn Huff found the two messages Bagdasarian posted on the internet October 22, 2008, were intended as a threat. The messages, one which read, "He will have a 50 cal in the head soon," were discovered after a retired air force officer saw them on a Yahoo finance website and called the secret service.

Another email included racial slurs and read, "Shoot the n--. Country f----- for another 4+ years, what n-- has done ANYTHING right???? Long Term???? Never in history, except s-mbos.

In defending his client, Defense Attorney Ezekial Cortez argued the postings were political speech and protected by the first amendment. He also told the judge his client was drunk when he went on the website.

"Defense counsel proffered the idea that he was drunk at the time but as we indicated in court there was very limited evidence to intoxication," said Cole.

Cortez objected to the introduction of other emails Bagdasarian sent to someone on November 4th, election day. One email included a YouTube video link showing a car being blown up after it was hit by a round from a weapon. Cole said the second emails were important because they also showed intent.

"All these days later he is still talking about the same subject matter," he said. Which in the government's mind undercuts the notion these statements were solely the result of drunkeness."

Phone calls to Bagdasarian's business and to the office of his attorney went unreturned.

Out on $100,000 bail, the 47-year-old will be sentenced in October. Each count he is convicted of carries a maximum of five years in prison. So what will he be sentenced to, if he spends any time in prison?

"Theoretical maximum is 10 years in prison," said Cole. "But again the government has not made a recommendation at this time and has no prediction at all as to what the sentence will be."

    Man Guilty of threats

  54. My Anonymous Conservative friend,

I am against what they have let out about Obama's health care plan BUT SOMETHING does need to happen.

Don't listen to the constant bombardment against health care reform from our fellow conservative radio hosts. They are being paid for their support against it. No one can deny, including them, that the health care system is not completely wacked. Their arguments against it are weak. But I fully agree with 95% of what they say regarding other issues.

We don't need a government controlled system but I am not completely against the single payer system (government is the only insurance company) if they continue to completely disregard our laws we already have in place.

The proper supply and demand always fixes a problem in a republic EXCEPT when monopolies and corruption are ignored in exchange for lining the pockets of politicians, both liberal and conservative.

The AMA monopoly MUST be broken up but notice that NO ONE is talking about it. It is common knowledge in the insurance industry (which has their own set of problems) that the American Medical Association is controlling the supply of doctors (and nurses) by only allowing a certain number of them to graduate per year. Therefore the low supply of doctors to the degree that you may be lucky if you set an apointment today to get one tomorrow, controls what they can charge. Allow significantly more qualified doctors in the system and you create competition which makes prices drastically drop.

Stop all insurance company collusion. There are laws in place that allow them to talk to each other about increasing premiums next week! But they don't bother talking about that either. MASSIVE amounts of money are being spent right now by the insurance, doctor, and drug associations. THEY ARE BUYING OFF THE POLITICIANS AS WE SPEAK!

The leftist Bill Moyers has done a number of shows about health care and he digs into the corruption even though I don't necessarily agree with the solution. The problem with a single payer system is the fact that everything the government touches dies. Regulation is the answer. Following the laws that are on the books and somehow STOPPING this bribery!!! We don't regulate because pockets are getting skinned, and I've got news for you leftists, Obama's pocket is getting skinned too! This crap has got to stop! We need a politician who is dedicated to stopping this corruption and putting very serious laws in place to ensure its quick end. And allowing NO lobbyist money in any way including special benefits like a 400K a year job to the politicians son.

Here is a link to Moyers site. He had a show a couple of weeks ago that I couldn't find. It was with a former insurance executive who has turned against the industry. Very interesting. Many of the same things my dad has told me, as he was a vice president of one of the largest insurance companies in America.
    http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/07242009/watch.html

We need to eliminate all ILLEGAL aliens from our health care. They are not contributing to our system tax wise and they've got to go. If we implemented the Fair Tax the need to get rid of them would also be gone. No one in this country could escape taxes as the ONLY tax you would pay would be a higher sales tax on the goods you buy. And if you are broke and don't buy much you don't pay much in tax. If you are loaded and buy all kinds of stuff you will pay heavily in taxes.

The new system should ONLY include major medical. That is one of the largest problems they are dealing with in Canada. There are too many hypochondriacs that run to the doctor for any single thing. I don't want to be paying for someone who has the sniffles and needs to be patted on the ass by a doctor. They can pay for that themselves.

  55. Tell your doctor you are paying CASH and you need a good price and instantly your $75 dollar consultation drops to $45. People can swing that. The whole point here is major medical. It's financial RUIN. It's the credit system that is allowed to hammer a person because they got sick and the astronomical hospital bills can not be paid.

$45 bucks is not going to KILL you. Care centers should be set up all over the country that will take anyone in for anything. MOST of the people who go to the hospital go there because they have NO INSURANCE and don't have cash on hand to pay a doctor. AND they know a public hospital HAS to take them by law. So it is filled with people who have the flu, or people who got chest pains that are nothing more than heart burn! Ridiculous.

Care centers that HAVE to take you and that will give someone a bill if they don't happen to have $75 to stitch them back up on hand. These care centers will be affordable and will force both hospitals and doctors to line themselves back up once they see that people will just drop in one of those places without an appointment, get served relatively quickly and get a bill.

When there is stiff competition a business (doctors office, hospital) is forced to make a decision.

    1. Offer the same rates as the stiff competition so you can get your customers back.

    2. Offer better rates or services than they do so you can get your customers back.

    3. Or go out of business!!!

The Free Market System is the way to do it but NO ONE including the deadbeat republicans in office are proposing a way to do it!!!!

And you may ask how the government could get these clinics built all over the country quickly. TAX INCENTIVES. With requirements (regulation) that force those who want to be involved into some fair but Walmart style pricing and value. $3.00 prescription style medical care!

And look what happened when Walmart did the $3.00 prescriptions. Every one was FORCED to jump on the band wagon with their own deals! And the market was still FREE and not GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED.

And we all know, Walmart isn't LOOSING any money by giving $3.00 prescriptions. If I could only get 1 billion people to give me 1 single dollar.

I could go on and on with my health care plan but nothing will actually get fixed because as we speak our politicians are getting their wallets greased and until we put an end to this corruption nothing will change as a benefit to the American people. They will position it in a way that it will help the masses, it will sound to everyone like it will, then you will find out a few years down the road that the reality is that you are screwed harder than you previously were.

Major corporations are in the business of turning a profit and will do the right thing for their stock holder (which means greasing the wheel), and politicians no longer see themselves as civil servants and will do what is right for themselves and their families (taking the bribes).

To conclude, you Obama supporters can "hope" for "change" and "transparency" all you want but it's simply not going to happen until we have a candidate that is serious about one thing only, ending corruption. Once that is done this country will be able to start and rebuild itself from the damage they have done.

Here is my radical statement, but I couldn't end it without one.....

And.... when we have regained control of this country by hopefully peaceful but militia force if necessary, all of those who have been acting against the WILL of the people shall be tried for Treason which is punishable by death!

  56. "We need to eliminate all ILLEGAL aliens from our health care. "--Hutch

And there is the rub! Until something is done about illegal immigration and the 40 million currently here illegaly, there is no way in Hell the healthcare situation can be addressed.

No way in Hell you can have a single payer system (which I think is a bad idea) will millions waiting to bust it out.

  57. At least one-third of the 40 million uninsured Obama keeps harping on are illegal immigrants.

Do we really need to throw all those people that do have some form of insurance under the bus just so illegal Mexicans can get free medical treatment?

The system isn't perfect, but surely a way can be found to do something to address the small percentage of underinsured than going to a government run one payer system.

Don't even get me started on the anti-white nature of this proposed plan.

SAN DIEGO, California - Walter Edward Bagdasarian walked out of federal court Tuesday morning the same way he walked in, wearing a stoic expression on his face and clutching the hand of his wife. But, when Bagdasarian came out of the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building he was a man guilty of threatening the man running for the country's top spot, now President Barack Obama

    basically.....crud!....

you CANNOT be "charged" (in common law countries....and that includes the US!)....with "making (internet) threats" unless you are actually VIDEO-taped using yr computer/a computer/mobile 'phone/what-ever to makes such a threat...just because the ISP account is in your name DOES NOT MEAN you, yr-self, tapped out such "threats" on your computer key-board!

  64. I doubt Jimbo is Jim Ramm. Jim Ramm isn't that creative nor does he care that much about the message of the struggle. He'd rather just plaster a few static white power things around his website while he attacks Obama and white nationalists equally.

She can't have her cake and eat it too...she can't say it isn't protected speech and call for people being locked up for speech while at the same time saying she supports the 1st Amendment.
