Tookie - Too Little - Too Late

Crips founder, Stanley "Tookie" Williams, will be put to death by lethal injection just a few minutes after midnight. California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, asked "Is Williams' redemption complete and sincere, or is it just a hollow promise?" He then went on to say, "Without an apology and atonement for these senseless and brutal killings, there can be no redemption."

Willaims has been on death row for twenty-four years and has exhausted every avenue for a reversal or clemency. He was convicted in 1981 for killing a convenience store clerk during a hold-up and a mother, father, and their daughter during a motel robbery a couple of weeks later.

Tookie has been credited with founding the violent Crips street gang along with Raymond Washington who was killed some time back by a rival gang. The Crips gang started in California and spread across the United States resulting in the murders and maiming of scores of individuals.

After spending close to seven years in solitary confinement, Williams authored a series of books for elementary aged children on the dangers of gangs. This garnered him a Nobel Peace Prize nomination by Swiss MP Mario Fehr in 2001. It was too little too late, however.

Perhaps his greatest enemy has been his consistent denial of the crimes for which he was convicted. He claimed that his conviction had been based on "heresay" from the witnesses who testified.

Threats have been flying from Crips in the prison, and some say from outside, that there will be reprucussions should Williams be executed. Many music, TV, and movie stars have been actively attempting to get Tookie's sentence commuted. Today, however, the decision to execute was made in spite of their efforts.

  2. i earnestly hope when this human wretch clocks out the variying gangfilth will go on a wild city wide rampage and burn and loot half of los angeles, if this were to happen (please God let it be so) then i would wish the law enforcers would with calculating precision shoot-to-kill each and every criminal ganngfilth scum wretch they come across

the great injustice is to think that this 4x murdering thug-goon would be entitled to 25 years of life free from the obligations of work (death row inmates do not have work obligations) free from the pressures and tensions that honest hard working tax paying citizens face in their normal day to day life, with plenty of time on his hands so he can craft for himself a hulking intimidating imposing body, be cared for with free shelter, food, medical care, dental care and have access to books to read all at the expense of the working tax paying citizens of the state of california....this is the outrage

the human waste should have been put to death no more than 2 years after conviction, but because we play games with justice is it any wonder there is no clear message that you kill and as a consequence must pay with your life

but let the midnight candle carrying sobbing legion of criminal lovers take place, weeping for their latest killer-hero, i would only hope to see these dements shake their fist at such a cruel and evil society that would dare to bring an early exit to someone so deserving

  4. This is all very sad.

I don't agree that this form of barbaric public murder solves crime.

Oh, and I finally got the guts to start my own blog.

    Here it is:

And may Tookie rest in peace as may our society evolve one day and learn that this way is the wrong way.

    Peace out!

  5. may this 4x murdering unrepenting criminal savage thug goon scum be tormented in hellfire for evermore

once again we are treated to the sick parade of murderer loving braindead slimefilth who display to the world they have shit for brains as they raise up to sainthood this vile creature who stole 4 souls

how much attention has the world wide media given to the murderer's victims?

all we have heard for a week has been how precious the worthless life of our dear sainted brother stanley 'tookie' williams is, but have no fret dear ones because not a single drop of his precious blood has been shed (even though the vile scum filth spilled much from the 4 he murdered) and not a bone of his body has been broken, (because he was gassed) let us lovingly wrap his precious body he has left for us in priceless fragrances and rare and exotic embalming fluids that the great saint stan may have his tent that his wonderous spirit inhabited be preserved for permanent display within the visitors reception area so that all may bow before the great reformed one, his spirit of love and reform will radiate from his displayed corpse and many hearts will be turned from a life of crime to a life of service toward the down trodden, the paths of the crooked will be made straight, love and joy, peace and tranquility will permeate the halls and cells of san quentin, brother will love brother and war no more inside its walls

one very critical thing the criminal lobby and the criminal loving left have forgotten in the death penalty debate is that the death penalty is not an action designed to induce detterence to the crime of murder it is designed for one specific purpose and one singular objective only and that is to administer upon the murderer the administrative act of punishment, punishment for the act of murder, as it is written in the book of genesis: "whoso sheddeth man's blood by man shall his blood be shed", that is why throughout time the penalty of death (by the hand of the avenger and by the action of the state) has been visited upon the murderer so that he may be punished for his crime of taking the life of his victim by surrendering his own life as just retribution for what he has done to his victim and to the state

it truly is astonishing beyond words, beyond imagination how twisted and how sick in the head western civilization has become and i am very sad to say much of the world has come to agonize over the life of a 4x murderer, i say this to the criminal lobby and the criminal loving left: bring out from the death cells all of the murderers, each and every worthless one of them whoever they may be and however many there might be (5,000 - 6,000), gather all of them together as one bring them before the steps of the united states supreme court, construct gallows for each one of them and on memorial day (a fitting day to remember all of murdered victims) hang them enmasse and let there worthless bodies lay hanging for 3 days so that all may fear and dread the awful crime of murder and all may fear and dread ever breaking that law and all may revere and honor the law and all may honor the victims who's lives were stolen by the hands of the murderers who now have finally paid the righful price

the death penalty is the only rightful punishment for the murderer and when the state rightfully and correctly administers this punishment it not only satisfies the demand for justice, and retribution, and vengeance, but in addition it serves to deter many who might otherwise risk taking the chance of committing the crime of murder

the criminal lobby and the criminal loving left of course are only concerned with the idea of detterence since in their sick and twisted mind 'retribution' and 'vengeance' are evil ideas, and to them it is the duty of both the victim and the state to forgive, forgive, forgive the murderer

when the united states did have a fairly uniform death penalty (50+ years ago) a death penalty that did not wait for 20 years to be administered but was enacted within 2 or less years after conviction the murder rate was far far far smaller than it is today

let us also remmember there are far more murderers within state prisons who are not on death row (perhaps as many as 50,000) because their sentences resulted in life imprisonment or sentences of periods of years in prison

when a society fails to administer the penalty of death upon the murderer the value of human life is greatly diminished since the blood of the victim crying for justice is silenced

we in this depraved society of ours of course have already proven how little we value human life in this generation since for the past 33 years we have made it legal to snuff the developing life within the womb all because we value the precious (selfish) choice (responsibility) of a woman to choose (murder) the developing life the creator has entrusted her to carry within and bear to fruition

  6. a correction:

the 4x unrepentent now dead murderer stanly 'tookie' williams was not gassed as i posted but was drugged

so the cretinous filth was put to sleep and was spared the anguish of asphixiation

i wonder if in the last hour of his worthless existence he was reliving his murder acts in the theatre of his mind, the bar of justice now having fallen upon his soul

  7. Personally I would have wanted the execution to be publicly televised so the Black and Hispanic communities can see the consequences of gang violence. All in all he is just one worthless black male but he should be made into the symbol to shed light on the rot and gangrene of black culture.

Isis, I appreciate your opinion but I believe you would change your mind if it were your loved ones that were brutally gunned down in cold blood by this man.

I think death by lethal injection was too nice; I would have liked to see him in front of a firing squad or fried in an electric chair. The pain that he inflicted on others he too must feel so he can fully understand the bestiality of his actions.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The firing squad would be too quick. These Savages really should be publically lynched on a lamp post in front of the Court house. That would drive the point home to the other Savages that they won't be tolerated.

  9. The only way I would have support clemency in this case is if every single inmate on death row were also given clemency in California.

I'm against the death penalty but I also feel this case did not warrant any special attention for a reduction in sentence.

His defense claimed to have new witnesses. After 25 years on death row, new witnesses just showed up? Bullshit.

If he was going to get clemency, everyone should also.

Hopefully one day, the death penalty in America, which is a joke today, will be gone. Life sentence under the harshes conditions should replace the death penalty.

  10. This one was hard for me. Like you, Harry, I'm against the death penalty. But, I was also not convinced that he was this "changed man" that his supporters were claiming.

Four murders...and a gang that has been, perhaps, the worse thing that has ever materialized when it comes to our children. The victims weren't only those he killed and their families - but thousands upon thousands of others who have been dealing with the death and destruction caused by the gang mentality.

I'm still against the death penalty. But...writing a few books for grade school children doesn't absolve him of the horrors that have perpetrated upon all of us.

  11. Big Daddy Nigger is juiced last night and now Big Daddy's Little Nigger Jr may join him.

    Compliments of Hal:

Like Father, Like Son. . .
SON OF "TOOKIE" WILLIAMS WANTED FOR GUNPOINT RAPE

Now that we have taken care of Stanley "Tookie" Williams, who hads just been executed for murder, it's time to go after his bad seed! A son of Stanley "Tookie" Williams allegedly raped a girl at gunpoint!
I'm not quite sure what to say about this. . . . . . But then again, what more needs to be said. There's a difference between black people and niggers. The niggers gotta go.

  12. I couldn't sleep last night.

I felt a chill go through my body around the time of his execution which was at about 3:45am EST.

I hope Tookie is at peace and I hope our society will finally evolve beyond the media circus of puplic butchering.

  13. Isis, do you sleep when gangs murder and ‘butcher’ innocent people or just when our government takes out the ‘trash’?

  14. Stefan- The gang murders are horrid, an just because I am against the death penalty, doesn't mean I am "pro-gang".

It just means that I don't agree that the death penalty is the solution.

It doesn't stop crime or give anymore value to human life conscieness on the street.

As all senseless murder are horrible, as there is something especially gut wrenching when it is a public media event.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Reasons for Death Penalty (My opinion)

Punishment- Anyone who senselessly robs someone of their life should have that ‘favor’ paid back in return.

Deterrence- You are going to say that because of criminal mentality (thinking they will never be caught) that the death penalty does not act as a deterrence. By that logic (following if you subscribe to that logic) we should remove all penalties since according to criminal mentality punishments of any sort will have no effect. –Rubbish-

Here is a true historical example of why that is wrong- In Romania during the Middle Ages Vlad Dracula (the 3rd) ruled Romania. When a diplomat came to visit he noticed the population was starving and poor due to constant battles with the Turks but he also noticed a gold studded cup (I believe, or my history teacher will kill me) standing on pedestal. He asked Vlad why the local population would not steal it since it would be very easy to do so. Vlad responded that if that person was caught he would be impaled.

This is just an example but it does not take a rocket scientist to imagine that the harsher the penalty the more caution and cognitive thought would a person use before undertaking such an action.

  16. Gang murders are horrible but you know something, when is the last time a death penalty was given to a gang member for a driveby shooting of another gang member?
The public just rolls its eyes and says it just another murder. Fox News and others don't even bother to report those.

But yet if a gang member breaks into a house and kills a pretty white girl, he'll almost certainly get the death penalty. The public goes nuts demanding the death penalty. It makes Fox News for weeks on end.

The death penalty is not fair. It should be eliminated and all those on death row reduced to life in prison without parole but I would make their prison life a living hell.

It should also be eliminated because of the slim chance that a wrongly convicted person was put to death.

And it does NOTHING to deter crime. Nada, ziltch, nothing. It cost more to prosecute a death penalty case then it does to confine someone to prison for life.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Well...I said I was against the death penalty - and I am but maybe not for the reasons that you might think. This is what I believe - for whatever it's worth.

    1) The chance that an innocent person may be executed weighs heavily in my belief.

    2) Supporting the death penalty makes us no better than the criminal.

    3) It DOES NOT serve as a deterent - maybe it did in Vlad's realm, Stefan - but not in American society.

    4) In many instances death is the easy way out. Too easy. Timothy McVeigh wanted to die - he asked them to put him to death. Was that because he was remorseful for the taking of the lives of 198 people including 19 children? No. He wanted to die so he could be a martyr. That - and he knew he would never have to tell the truth about his crime.

    5) If we are using the death penalty as "punishment," why don't we really punish the murderer - or the rapist - or, especially, the pedophile? If someone harmed one of mine - I don't want them to die. I want them to live a very long life - in very miserable conditions. Put them in a cage and throw them some meat once in awhile. Don't lay them down and put them quietly asleep. Make them live with the knowledge that what they did was reprehensible and that they will pay for it for a very long time.

I see nothing accomplished by our use of the death sentence. Unfortunately, our judicial system is broken - it just doesn't work any more. It favors the haves over the have nots - and there is NOTHING just about that. Money rules - and with money you can get away with anything.

What was accomplished last night? Not one damned thing. Is this world a safer place because Tookie Williams is dead? Are people going to be kinder and gentler to each other? Was Tookie Williams guilty of murder? I think so - time and time again. I just have to believe that there must be a better way.

I would like to hear your logic explaining why the death penalty is not a deterrence.

    ====================================================================
It cost more to prosecute a death penalty case then it does to confine someone to prison for life.
    ====================================================================

Off coarse it does when it takes you 25 years to execute people and on top of that you pay their legal bills. Easy fix: no automatic appeals and 30 days between conviction and execution.

    ===================================================================
It should also be eliminated because of the slim chance that a wrongly convicted person was put to death.
    ===================================================================

Accidents happen, no system is prefect.

    ====================================================================

Let the gang bangers kill themselves but when they kill an innocent girl the police cannot afford to turn a blind eye anymore and the jurors should vote to ‘recommend’ the death penalty. As long as blacks allow this criminal subculture then they reap what they sow and a few deaths in the ‘hood’ to me is just house ‘cleaning’. If their criminality goes from infecting their areas to ours then we should unmercifully destroy them.

  19. Nikki,

People are all similar when it comes to their desire to live. Death is not an easy way out since most people’s intrinsic knee-jerk response is to live no matter what. It worked with Vlad, it worked for Hitler, Stalin, Castro, and Saddam Hussein. The people I just mentioned are unabashed when it comes to using the death penalty and an analysis of their violent crime rates shows just how meek their populations were in response.

  20. as far as the youth gangfilth the single greatest service they could render to society would be to mobilize all of their members into the barren mohave dessert for a mass gang war which hopefully would result in their complete extinction

as to this argument that the penalty of death does not deter many from committing the act of murder i would say examine and compare the murder rate in 1925 to the murder rate in 2005, a period of 2 generations, let us see if there are any differences in murder rates, and allow for increases in firearms possession when calculating

let me also say this: if the recently deceased stanley williams knew with an absolute 100% certainty if he were to pull that shotgun trigger to murder, the instant he did so he would have a 40 day countdown to his death with absolute 0 chance of any possibility of appeal does anyone seriously think he would have been so cavalier and casual toward murdering?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why is it liberals fight so hard to save the lives of those that commit murder?

He shot 4 people at point-blank range with a 12 guage shotgun (blowing off the face of a young girl-btw). Maybe you folks need to be reminded of that.

You guys are totally irony proof.
