DEADLOCKED

Serving on a jury is not an easy task - and the jury in the Hal Turner trial is having trouble. After a couple of hours of deliberations they sent a note to the judge saying they are hopelessly deadlocked. Of course they are. It's Friday and they have spent all of two days listening to the proceedings in a trial that was supposed to last two weeks!

Judge Walter sent them back and saying,  "This is an important case this trial has been expensive in time and money."

Well...no shit! After a change of venue and flying in a special judge and prosecutor, along with all of the money that has been spent by the federal government to the defendant himself, you and I are out a bundle.

Something just isn't right in any of this. Something stinks to high heaven and we really need some answers.

  1. It just appears the government put the breaks on this thing-and fast.

No way the jury can come to any sort of rational conclusion.

Yes, it does stink really bad.

The sad thing is no one in the government will be held accountable for this clusterfuck.

  2. And just like with Miller, Turner will be welcomed back in movement circles like nothing ever fucking happened.

I can hear him saying,"Hell, if you were me you would have done the same thing"!

Hate to tell you this, but you aren't going to get any answers with this.

People will just have to use their brains and best educated guesses at this point.

  4. Oh! Don't you know that's precisely what will happen! And there will be those who fall all over themselves trying to justify everything that he did!

I really don't care which way this thing goes at this point. The government has made such a mess and a mockery out of things that I am just pissed beyond belief. But, I hate that there will be those who will be taken in by this charlatan once more.

The fact that the prosecution was barred from presenting some of their case, the way they have botched everything, and their deception of the public is just as much worthy of derision, if not more so, as Hal.

Nikki, IMHO, if the FBI delt with informants in a forthright manner Turner never would have been a problem.

It's obvious that the DOJ/FBI and maybe even JTTF are desperate to keep a lot of this out of the public eye.

They can testify all fucking day long that "I never instructed him to do thus...," but we know damn well (from history) that the FBI has in fact given lots of latitude and leeway to informants.

I hate to say this, but I believe Orozco had the goods on the Federal Government...Notice how Gov. Christie was "relieved" at the news he wouldn't be called?

I think Turner had something...he HAD to have something if he was such a valuable asset that recieved 100 grand a year.

Apparently, as much as I don't want to believe it, was a very big fish and the fat cigar smoking fish wasn't going to go down without him exposing some of the underhanded bullshit.

I think Turner had the goods and someone high up in the establishment made this thing go away...as best they could under the circumstances.

  6. This was a "shut down" if I ever saw one.

Nikki, what if Turner was right, and he WAS instructed to say and write the things he did?

If this is in fact true, it should concern everyone.

The logical person would have to conclude that Hal Turner was a creation by and for the federal government--HE WAS THEIR CREATION!

  8. Oh - I think you are very right in that summation. It WAS a "shutdown" if ever there was one.

Hal might have been smart enough to gather the goods and keep them just in case. The whole thing with Christie - tells me a lot.

  9. Apparently, Hal had enough sense to know that the FEDS do from time to time burn informants, and I guess he made provisions for that event.

Like I said before, the federal government doesn't give a 100 grand a year for nothing. I am sure Hal was a valuable asset.

And I will also remind everyone here that not only was this a "shut down" but an obvious tug-of-war that I earlier stated was probably going on between federal agencies.

Not a good sign, my friends.

Everyone should fear this government after witnessing all of this.

Whether he WAS instructed or not, this whole thing is pretty concerning. He might have been their creation - but, only if he allowed it to happen.

What is most obvious to me is that which others are saying - there is some sort of cover-up here - something they don't want public.

Mind you, these are all guesses on my part and I have no knowledge of what is going on. Just using my grey matter:

Yes, it speaks volumes, though Christie was lower down on the food chain...what State Attorney is going to go against the wishes of the Joint Terrorism Task Force? I totally believe the asscertion by Orozco that Christies office (When he was State Attorney)gave blanket immunity. I doubt Turner wouldn have operated any other way...you would have to be really fucking stupid to work that way without it.

The Christie (not implying any wrongdoing on the part of Christie btw) thing is just a small part of what Turner probably had on the lying bastards.

  12. Remember Carol Howe.

Yes, and I don't even want to entertain the thought the government directed that.

Jesus, this nation is in trouble.

  13. Ummm...believe me when I say that Hal had immunity from someone there locally. But, you're right - he has to have something much bigger.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hal not only worked with the FBI but the JTTF (according to media reports) and the JTTF is a conglomerate of "STATE" and Federal agencies...of course Turner and maybe even the JTTF would want local sanction and immunity.

But like I said...this is the tip of the iceberg. I suspect Turner didn't make a move without it being given the go ahead by someone.

  15. DUH!!!

Anonymous, of course there is a cover-up and this was a "shutdown".

    The important question is why.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I always said either an acquittal, plea bargain, or time served was the most Turner was going to get.

I agree with anonymous, the Government seems to have backed off and a nolle presqui is probably going to end up being the result when the jury deadlocks. The government won't prosecute again.

The judge's note alone would be grounds for appeal if Turner is convicted.

Locked jury and the government won't bother.

Hal will claim he needs money for his lawyer though his lawyer is pro-bono, as is almost every single 1st amendment case.

Still, Bill White should subpeona him to testify in Roanoke and White should sue the living hell out of Turner for the fake Roanoke bomb threat.

  17. I'll also add, if this is a locked jury 6 to 6 or 7 to 5... it would be a waste of time for the government to re-try this case. Truth is, if it is that deadlocked, Turner deserves to walk.

Then in a few weeks, he'll be back on the air again, no one will take him seriously, but he'll be back on the air again. Other federal informants like James Wickstrom will be on his coat-tails.

  18. And I tell what you is funny, I rarely even bother with Alex Linder anymore, but him teaming up with Jimmy Giles now..... That is funny.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Uh...Harry - that is funny, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Actually, it would be kinda fun to hear Hal back on the air - I would love to hear him cry and thank all of the thousands of people who supported him. No one cries quite as good as Hal Turner.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Nikki, Giles has only been banned from VNN about half a dozen times, been caught lying more than Bill White, and now him and obvious FBI informant Linder are teaming up again. Giles keep losing every single time he runs for political office.

Yea, it's funny just watching them cry "jew, jew, jew" while they are their own worse enemy.

Then throw in Linder openly cooperating with known informant Glenn Miller. And Linder's past association with Hal Turner, and you know Turner was turning over every single ip record when he hosted VNN.

    Yea Nikki, it is funny.
