Bad Month To Be A Hale

Bad Month To Be A Hale

CAH Staff

May hasn't been a very good month for the racist right, but it has been even worse for the Hale's. Matt is in prison for 40 years for the solicitation of the murder of Judge Joan Lefkow and it looks like he is there to stay.

This morning, Matthew Hale lost his appeal as he represented himself to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. In a 30 page response the Court denied him that appeal.

A couple of days ago Matt's brother, David, was arrested after Daddy Hale discovered his gun collection was missing. David sold the collection to pay for his crack cocaine habit.

Tony Willow is all curled up with the latest court document and will fill us all in very soon - so stay tuned!

  1. Russell Hale sure raised a bunch of fine young men. NOT!!!

  2. I kinda think the apples didn't fall too far from the tree. Evelyn shares in this too.

  3. David Hale stole from his own father to fuel his crack habit.

David Hale also was convicted in 1995 of threatening to kill his wife at the time.

What's scary is that Matt Hale probably had access to all these weapons that Russell Hale owned at one time.

  4. It's bad enough that you people railroaded Matt Hale, but he gets for 40 years, at a "SuperMax" prison, being put in solitary for 20-23 hours a day for what? "solicitation of murder"... Hell, most people get alot less than that for worse offences...

  5. Harry - When David went to jail before, he was found guilty but mentally ill - I think it runs in the family. One night Russell Hale, Matt's father, went to his estranged wife's house and threatened to commit suicide on the front lawn. He was removed from the police force for that and later reinstated.

Lloyd - I guess it all depends on your perspective. Matt was arrested and held under Special Administrative Measures because he was deemed a domestic terrorist. I don't know whether the SAM's were renewed - they were up for renewal in March.

Matt Hale was a pernicious little twerp (another little man) with absolutely no reverence or respect for anything. He was another egomaniacal player - the movement has been full of them. I believe he and his followers were extremely dangerous and am really glad that we won't have to contend with him any longer.

  6. The picture for this article was on the cover of GQ several years back. The guy on the left is Michael Cook. Recently he called for a rally in York - then jumped ship to run with Richard Barrett - Barrett figured out that Cook was a nutcase and curbed him. The guy on the right is James Barnett. Barnett testified against Hale at the trial.

Now...before anyone gets their panties in a bunch over this guy being a "snitch" you should know that James is a mentally handicapped individual who was the most loyal of all the Creators. He stuck by Matt through everything - and was with him long before he became a Creator.

Matt recruited him and USED him to clean his office and be his general flunky for years. He had James absolutely terrified of "disobeying" any of his orders.

  7. These laws we have now are very dangerous.. The Bill of Rights calls for "reasonable bail" to be set. Even though I did'nt understand alot of Matt Hale was all about, I still think he was treated very unfairly in our court system... I really think that a 40 years of jail time is too much for him, 5-10 should have been all he got.

  8. He was convicted on 3 counts. Two of those counts - the obstruction of justice ones, I believe, carry a mandatory 10 year sentence each. Then there was the solicitation. He probably would not be serving as much if this hadn't been Federal.

  9. Like I said, I am not a expert on Matt Hale, what stems from this according to Hal Turner (like I believe in that con-artist) said that Hale's "Church" was ordered to burn thier "bibles"

10 years on each charge, were they to be served back-back, or all at once? Some courts order that. How about the 3rd charge? any guidelines on that?

  10. Actually, in the Trademark ruling - they were never ordered to burn or destroy any of their books or literature. They were told they could cover the WCOTC logo or somehow obliterate that. Matt used that to try and fire his flock up around him and garner some press by claiming that they were being ordered to burn their Bibles.

The third charge (solicitation) I'm not sure what the guidelines were - but I am pretty sure that the 20 yars was the maximum.

I don't believe that he would have gotten near that amount of time if 1)His followers had not always been in so much trouble (the WCOTC had a long history of violence); 2) Had he not had such a strong influence on his group; and 3) If he had shown a little more contrition in the courtroom. Personally, I looked for him to get 20 years max.

After the Benjamin Smith shooting spree I along with many others read Hale's response to the tragedy. It was the most horrific, offensive thing I was ever exposed to. He was gloating, the bastard was actually gloating and laughing about the murders. The people murdered for their skin color, the children left without fathers, the shattered lives, all were just jokes to him. He didn't even pretend he cared or was sorry for what happened. A jury would later get to hear these remarks, and conviction + max sentence were guaranteed.

Matt Hale is a 'man' in only the most technical sense. He has no soul, no pity, no consciousness. He is an animal, and a very dangerous one. Animals need to be kept in cages.

He is the single most evil person I have ever been exposed to. Fortunately, he still has 39 years to think about what he has done. While he is rotting in that cage, watching wrinkles slowly appear on his hands, maybe he can spare a few minutes to write a letter to the families of the slain victims. I am not going to hold my breath, but maybe in twenty or thirty years he will see the light. Time will tell, meanwhile, unlike Hale, I have a life to live.

  12. Anonymous - you said that beautifully. Prior to Hale's arrest, I was really immersed in the goings on of the WCOTC and Hale himself. I had many exchanges with him. The staff at CAH was great. They realized that everytime I dealt with Matt, I felt like I had been touched by evil. I had to shower and try to wash that filth away.

I have dealt with many very violent and very evil people in my lifetime - but there has never been one that made my skin crawl the way that Matt did.

Yesterday I read the appellate decision and I can tell you that I agree with everything that the court said. As they cited his actual words and conversations, I felt a bit of that old evil - and I hope that I never meet another Matt Hale.

If anyone wonders about Hale - I would like for them to listen to the tape of his glee over what Benjamin Smith did - and read the eulogy that Matt gave him. If you can walk away from that without being sick - then nothing will ever penetrate your soul.

  13. Matt Hale got the sentence because of his ego and his ineptitude to follow legal advice.

And you know what they say about being your own lawyer = having a fool for a client.

A good powerful lawyer probably would have gotten Hale a much lighter sentence. Hale's father raised money to help Hale hire a lawyer for the appeal. Hale never hired a lawyer for the appeal. I wonder if Russell Hale pocketed all the money?

It is kind of weird though, Hale is rotting in prison & Hal Turner has done far worse in threatening judges but nothing happens to him.

But you know something? Matt Hale is all but forgotten among white power types.

  14. A TON of money was raised! And a lot of people want to know where it all went. Now, they are trying to start another fund raiser for Mattie Boy. Doubt that they will do very well because you are right - he is long gone and almost forgotten.

  15. Hale has no "future appeals."

  16. I bet those who are solicting the funds for Matt Hale end up taking a huge chunk for themselves, then forwarding the rest perhaps to Matt Hale.

Teresa Doles is another example. She got all that money to pay for Chester's defense, then they made a plea bargain pocketing nearly all the money.

    Suckers....
